What a horrible man - 100% unrepentant, despite his initial "apology".

Excellent question
My question is this - who paid for this trip? Did the First Minister know of this trip beforehand?

When nationalist pretend that they didn’t campaign on once in a generation to bolster their Yes vote.
Bit more than just an opinion.

Free SNP school bag ? The cost per pupil = £28 for a cheap bag full of tat ? You can bulk purchase these from China for between £1.37 and £4.50 each. Shipped. The @theSNP are either the most corrupt organisation ever, or they are the most stupid. I suspect both.
I want a criminal investigation into the school bag situation in Scotland the overspend is like a siren for corruption and theft. Scotgov/SNP could have just given P1s a voucher to spend on a local high street for a bag of their choosing. That would have injected some much needed money back into high streets and localities. Instead they think of the Chinese before they think of Scots. If there ever was a situation to convey the mixture of scumminess and incompetence of the SNP this is a great example. Most of the SNP don’t even have children and it shows in the way they think.

42% @ £43,663 in Scotland For the 2026/27 tax year, someone earning £50,000 in Scotland pays approximately £1,496 to £1,500 more in income tax than an equivalent earner in the rest of the UK (rUK)

One of my aims of this page was to bring into the Overton Window, just how honking Police Scotland PSD is Regardless of what happens at the Justice Committee tomorrow, that discourse will not be over If anything, @CalumA_Steele has just blown it wide open

Public question to @larabirdsnp and Kate Nevens: You were held for around eight hours by Israeli authorities and then turned away at the Allenby Bridge while trying to enter the West Bank as part of a Progressive International delegation. Your stated aim was solidarity with olive harvesters and events in Ramallah. Meanwhile, back in Scotland: Drug deaths hit 1,133 in 2025 an 11% rise, still the highest rate in Europe by a wide margin, with cocaine and nitazenes driving the toll. This is after more than a decade of SNP government. Homeless deaths rose 38% to 232 in 2025. The Scottish Government declared a housing emergency, yet the numbers keep climbing. Child poverty and food insecurity remain entrenched, with large numbers of Scottish families relying on food banks and cutting back on meals. You are elected to represent people in Scotland and at Westminster. Is flying out on a foreign solidarity trip, then complaining about being stopped, the best use of your time right now? These are the people some of you trust to run Scotland?

Some of the people who donated to my ring fenced fund are upset, @WingsScotland said some very upsetting things so I have taken my campervan and hairdryers round the NC500 until I can find a husband to blame for it all
As I have lost my home in @KelvingroveArt I have raised some money from my supporters, I told them it was ring fenced for an orphans charity, they wont mind, and bought a campervan, I've filled it with treasure, Dyson hairdryers, as is the way of the leaders of this nation

Meanwhile Mairi McAllan and her Snp partners in crime will cut support teachers , leaving teachers with more pressure on their jobs .
"Imagine you are the parent of a new primary 1 pupil, and that you have been desperately struggling to get by. You are having to choose between heating and eating, perhaps missing meals yourself so that your child doesn’t go hungry. "You’d love to give them access to all the same experiences as those from the wealthier parts of the country take for granted, but you just can’t afford it. "And then along comes the Scottish Government, expecting you to believe that handing over a school bag for which they have been seriously over-charged is somehow going to level the playing field. "It’s not just a stupid claim – it’s also completely tone deaf and suggests that our government is led by people with little to no serious grasp of the problems they claim to be tackling on our behalf." Why on earth are the SNP spending £30 per head on 'free' P1 school bags? || James McEnaney 👇 𝘐𝘔𝘈𝘎𝘌: 𝘑𝘢𝘯𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘰𝘸/𝘗𝘈 𝘈𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘷𝘦/𝘗𝘈 𝘐𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘴

When I died my handmaidens and servants were all sent into my tomb which was then locked so they could die inside with me, not our proudest moment tbh Kinda like Nicola Sturgeons government did with care home residents during Covid though

Absolutely. Most children won’t want it. It’s a sinful waste of money
Unless all P1 pupils are forced to use the ‘government’ school bag it will become a badge of poverty. Don’t ministers understand real life?

Spoiler. They don’t need to. The cult will love this kind of nonsense. English kids don’t get bags.
“At almost £30 per child, ministers must explain whether this scheme represents the best value for taxpayers and assure teachers and parents that money could not be better spent elsewhere in our education system. “This adds up to £750 for a class of 25 pupils — money that could otherwise help fund much needed additional resources and support for children in the classroom” heraldscotland.com/news/2667…

Sometimes being proven to be right is bittersweet in the extreme. Usual empty rhetoric from the usual suspects: "We are deeply saddened that 1152 people died from alcohol-specific causes in 2025. Our condolences go to all those who have lost loved ones." #youkeeptalkingwekeepdying
