I feel like there's an interesting article to be written about Stalker, Metro, Disco Elysium and Rogue Trader all being distinctly Post-Soviet games.
Metro and Stalker are similarly anti-Communist, while both Disco Elysium and Rogue Trader go for a pretty distinctly Eastern European but somehow British-infected absurdist critique of autocracy, right-wing politics and the failures of post-1991 politics, though Elysium is more obviously intellectual and Trader lacks Jacobin-y in-your-face politics. – at Georgia

You can take practically any Samuel Adams quote and stick "Vladimir Lenin" beneath it and hardly anyone would notice
The Targaryens’ fate was sealed when they refused to use a foreign guard for their protection and entrusted the task to the aristocrats of Westeros. Naturally, those very same Targaryens were then killed. It was the most dumb decision a foreign dynasty could possibly have made.

The term "lumpenbourgeois" was originally coined to describe the South American bourgeoise.
Unlike most local bourgeoise classes, South America's lumpenbourgeoise has no national consciousness, and sees their own states as inauthentic communities which can be sold w/o remorse.
He who desires to create a republic where there are many gentlemen cannot do so unless he first destroys them all.

"Secretly competent guy uses a left-wing platform to springboard into power" seems to be the story of every great leader. Lee Kuan Yew, Bukele etc. all started as leftists.
