We’ve got a wonderful problem in Holland, Michigan. @AbdulElSayed is coming to sit down with @jorgeramosnews and @paoramos, my wife organized the event, and now we’re trying to figure out how to make room for everyone who wants to join the conversation.
The funny part? It’s a nonpartisan interview, not a political rally. The challenge isn’t generating excitement. It’s figuring out how to contain it. What a beautiful problem for a community to have.
Jorge, Paola, Abdul — welcome to Holland! A remarkable American city on the shores of Lake Michigan, with a lot of curiosity, plenty of opinions, and an enormous appetite for conversation.
The Great Lakes are pretty spectacular, too, mind you.
What a wonderful time to call Holland home.
Nos vemos el domingo en Holland, Michigan.
@paoramos Paola y yo vamos a entrevistar al candidato Abdul El-Sayed. ¿Què le
preguntarías?

That’s a troubling answer. Being on the team is radically different from rooting for your teammates. You ought to be able to support your lead scorer.
Haley Stevens withholding support for Abdul does not represent moderation; it prompts undecided Democrat voters to choose Republican. What makes her so fearful?
BASH: “You're still fully behind Abdul El-Sayed?”
STEVENS: “Look, I'm on the Democratic ticket. I can't say that I agree with everything that's gone on… I'm looking to be on the team to support my next governor Jocelyn Benson, and frankly these great Democrats who are working their tails off, who are going to make Hakeem Jeffries the first black Speaker of the House.”
BASH: “You didn't mention Abdul El-Sayed in that last answer.”
STEVENS: “Well, look, I would just say, you had asked me if I'm still on the team, I'm on the team.”

Ready for something new. Hungry for something better. Change is in the air.

Hasan Piker: “Trans people are 1% of the population. They shouldn’t be talked about endlessly. Muslims are 1% of the population. They shouldn’t be talked about endlessly. It’s not a Guatemalan migrant that made your housing more expensive. It’s your landlord, it’s hedge funds buying out all of these homes and rising up their prices. A transgender person is not the reason your energy costs are skyrocketing. It’s the wars we’re waging, the data centers sucking up the energy needs. This is just the truth”

It was good to be back in Michigan to support @JocelynBenson as your next Governor and @AbdulElSayed as your next U.S. Senator!
They are working to change the lives of Michiganders for the better. Make sure to vote early or on Election Day at MichiganDems.com/Vote.

Obama, Abdul El-Sayed, Jocelyn Benson, and a crowd absolutely bursting with hope, joy, and determination. Republicans can have their fear and division. This is what a movement looks like. 🔥
Michiganders deserve a governor who will prioritize making life more affordable for working families across the state. @JocelynBenson has the experience and the track record to make it happen.
Our UAW Region 1D family is proud to back Jocelyn Benson on November 3!
