Seen on the I15 close to Lehi Utah - Florida plates. Is it a Cybercab? Seemed to have a driver.

I really miss the @perplexity_ai discover / news feature in the old desktop app. I'm not sure why they removed it...@AravSrinivas?

A corporate job is a smooth road that ends rough. It’s smooth to join a big business, immediately earn money and leverage their brand and systems. Then comes the day when they let you go at age 53 and you’re seen as overqualified for the jobs that are hiring. You’ve still got 12 years til retirement and then another 25years to sustain yourself. You’ve got a mortgage and a family who depend on you. It’s a rough road at that point. By contrast the entrepreneur journey is rough at the start. It’s rough to work hard and get little rewards, to hire people who earn more than you do, when you can’t switch off, when you constantly feel 10 steps behind. Then comes the day when your sales team are making sales without you there, your manager is solving problems and your brand is trusted in the market. The business doubles while you’re less hands on. At 53, you’re offered a deal to sell the company and join the board of the acquirer. You clear the mortgage, you’ve got investments and new opportunities open up. At this point it’s a smooth road ahead. Corporate jobs offer a smooth road the ends rough. Entrepreneurship is the rough road that can end smooth.

It’s so much more difficult for the incumbents to truly innovate given the internal resistance to change that they undoubtedly encountered. Drive a Chevy Volt versus a Tesla - one clearly inventive the other clearly a series of compromises mired in decades of dogma.
