fun fact: XCode 27.1 (the version of XCode required to build apps for iPhone Duo) only came out last week— meaning developers have only had *any* sort of access to the iPhone Duo via the Simulator for less than a week.
the number of devs with *physical* devices is *even* smaller.
so yes, a lot of apps aren’t optimised for the iPhone Duo yet— but yes, i’m sure a lot of apps will be optimised soon, especially considering all the excitement around the iPhone Duo.
there are already so many cool and unique apps for the iPhone Duo (like DuoMan, which i’m sure you’ve seen already)
writing off the Duo as a “failure” because of the app optimisation before the phone’s even in stores yet is a very dumb take tbh
me when i break my phone and it breaks
Unbelievable! The iPhone Duo's display has been hiding a shocking secret!
Someone finally dared to peel off the matte film covering the iPhone Duo's display, and what they discovered was astonishing.
With the film removed, the screen underneath looks surprisingly uneven, with visible bumps, ripples, and even wrinkles!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The matte nano-texture cover layer peeled in the video is intentionally designed by Apple to mask the crease, ripples and surface variations of the underlying foldable display. It is a replaceable protective layer, not a defect.

ok so this is pretty obviously how the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 20 will work imo (if it does end up having an under screen camera after all)
invisible by default and appearing only when you use a Live Activity- with this animation
why’s no one talking about how Apple just brought back Slide To Unlock after 10 years lol this is so sick
(clip from MKBHD)
exactly, i find it so funny that android fanboys are talking about the iPhone Duo’s apps like “gotcha!”
Android foldables have existed for 8 years and yet the majority of android apps aren’t optimised for them
the iPhone Duo isn’t even in stores yet, y’all are embarrassing yourselves 😭
Silver aluminium with the Black glass Apple logo has gotta be my favourite Apple product design ngl, it’s so beautiful
i wonder if it’s possible to take screenshots on HomeView, and how you’d even do that since there aren’t any physical buttons
“hey Siri, take a screenshot”?
MacBook Pro this, iPad Pro that… look at the animation- it’s wiping across the screen
clearly, this is hinting at the new Polishing Cloth Pro
i love how i could go on a trip with my entire Apple ecosystem and ALL i’d need to charge it is this one brick and usb-c cable lol
i’m not saying this to be a Samsung hater but uh… this phone’s been out for MONTHS and yet even YouTube- a preinstalled app from Google themselves- hasn’t been optimised for its display and looks terrible on it 🤷♂️
there’s a very real chance Apple sells more iPhone Duos in the next week than Samsung did in their entire 8 years of making foldables 💀
