Do we have no future? Our parents had a plan. Work, buy the house, retire, travel. For most of us that plan doesn't exist anymore.
Retiring feels like a fantasy. AI and robots are coming for the work. Wars are on the horizon. We might be the first generation doing worse than our parents.
Do you think we still have a future?

Not wrong on the core mechanics.
X's Original Content Rewards pays only for unique Premium-user impressions of your original posts on the Home Timeline (50%+ visible). Profile visits and reply impressions do not count. Eligibility also excludes reply impressions.
Loyal quiet readers who mainly check your profile generate few or zero payable impressions. Low-engagement posts get less algorithmic distribution, so reach (and payouts) favor content that spreads in the feed to more Premium users. Community replies themselves no longer drive earnings the way older systems did.
The new 𝕏 payout system has a hidden penalty nobody talks about.
If your audience is loyal they go to your profile, they read your posts in chronological order, they don't argue in replies you earn nothing.
The system doesn't reward community.
It rewards going viral to strangers. The best audiences are the quietest ones.
And the algorithm punishes quiet.
𝕏's new creator payout system in one sentence:
"We'll pay you if our algorithm shows your post to people who already paid us, and we won't tell you the rate, and you have to pay us first to be eligible."
Bruh 😭
Genuine question for creators on 𝕏:
The new Original Content Rewards program pays you based on Premium subscribers seeing your content on the For You feed.
But the For You algorithm pushes rage bait harder than anything else.
So is 𝕏 actually paying you to be angry?
Or is it paying you to make them angry?

If I was making 10k monthly on this platform I wouldn't mind if they capped me at 5k and distribute the rest to smaller creators, they are leaving in droves now lol
The worst part about being mentally exhausted is that no one can see it. Like, bro, I’m out here fighting for my life in my head
I love how ‘I’m fine’ has become the universal code for ‘don’t ask me any more questions or I’ll actually lose it
