It is heartbreaking to see antisemitism in my hometown. I was born in Wyncote, near Philadelphia, and it makes me angry and ashamed to see hatred tolerated there. The numbers show this is not an abstract concern. The Anti-Defamation League recorded 465 antisemitic incidents across Pennsylvania in 2024, an 18% increase over 2023. It tracked 189 incidents in Philadelphia and 51 in Montgomery County. These reports include harassment, vandalism, and assault; they are not all classified as crimes. (adl.org, philadelphia.adl.org) Hateful expression harms more than its immediate target. In a 2025 survey of Jewish Americans, 79% said they were concerned about antisemitism, and 52% said they had worried about their personal safety because of their identity. Nearly half reported taking steps to increase their security. A research review also found that exposure to hate is associated with worse psychological well-being, more negative stereotypes, and less trust between groups. (philadelphia.adl.org, pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov) It takes me back to the racism I experienced in the 1960s: signs throughout the South declaring that Black people could be refused service, along with separate “white” and “colored” signs on bathrooms and drinking fountains,”no niggers”. I remember what that hatred looked and felt like. We cannot accept it in any form, directed at any people. I wish I could be there to stand with those protesting HATE. I am asking elected officials and other leaders in Philadelphia: Where are the clear statements condemning antisemitism? When hateful language is excused or repeated, it can make hostility seem acceptable and deepen fear and division. Leaders should speak plainly and consistently: antisemitism and hate have no place in our communities. What the hell? We have to speak up. Reggie Jackson The Mr. October Guy

Over 7,000 Christians slaughtered in Nigeria this year, villages burned, churches turned into killing fields. A genocide unfolding, and total silence because the victims are Christian. If it were mosques, the UN and media would be screaming nonstop

Since there’s clearly only limited empathy space in the hearts of self-described progressives, for most of them, their empathy starts and ends with those they deem victimized by Jews
Very true 🙏✝️

It costs that much to index picture books? Who knew?
I can’t think of a more hollow investment

Nope. Ever. Like a momma whose only parenting tactic is “Hey, if you keep doing what I tell you not to do, I will just have to give you more money.”
I believe she is the most ineffectual Foreign MInister since the last one.

I tend to be a pessimist, but here is some optimism for you: Islam has been defeated in Iran. On a cultural, societal and national level. The islamic regime consists of 100 year old mullahs and 75 year old IRGC terrorists. Meanwhile, Iran's youth has never been more fiercely anti-islam than they are right now. Mosques are shutting down. Arabic/islamic baby names are plummeting. Ancient Persian heritage is embraced more than ever before. And soon, the chains of the barbarian regime known as the islamic republic will be destroyed. After this 47 year long dark night ends, there will be a bright future. We will win.

If your religion is leading you to do this, you might be following Satan.
Christians captured by Muslims in Syria, bundled into vans and taken to a place of execution for refusing to convert to Islam. In South Africa, when you show people these videos, they call you Islamophobic. I will never be a Muslim!

Something seriously perverse abt elite New York Jews, so suicidally stupid. To those who hate us, a skunk in a tiger’s outfit is still a skunk
This is a despicable betrayal from Rep. Stevens. Senate Democrats are united in our support for Abdul El-Sayed, because we know he will fight for the economic interests of working families in Michigan, unlike Mike Rogers, who is a tool of Donald Trump and billionaire donors.

Of course they knew. BBC editors always do their homework, then do their hurt knowingly, maybe apologize ltr if enough pressure put in; over n over n over
Replying to @Mr_Andrew_Fox
@Mr_Andrew_Fox I doubt this was an oversight It’s quite possible (i probable?) that the BBC person who invited her knew her background but conveniently ignored it. Meanwhile the person has appeared on air and the damage is done. Break things and apologize later..

The fact that my boss pays my salary has absolutely no bearing on what I tell my boss or those who ask abt my work
Australian law professor Ben Saul fundraised $150,000 from the Chinese communist party yet insists this has zero influence whatsoever on his work -- even though he has never done a single report or country visit on China's persecution of the Uyghurs. xitter.gq/profbensaul/status/204…

Zasesti nacionalno RTV s policijo in zamenjati vodstvo (Poljska); 6. Prekiniti mandate vodstvu nacionalne RTV in izvesti čistko zaposlenih (Slovenija); 7. Poslati v zapor člane prejšnje vlade brez možnosti obrambe (Madžarska); 8. Podeliti skoraj milijon državljanstev ilegalnim migrantom po hitrem postopku (Španija); 9. Zapreti novo Nuklearno elektrarno in zgraditi plinovod do Rusije (Nemčija); 10.

Like that old non-joke when a surgeon says "The surgery went great but the patient died"
This Toronto Police presser about the Bridal Path home invasion is unreal. - Cops meet suspect at hospital after he was shot during the home invasion - Suspect still leaves hospital - Won't admit prior interactions with police (despite that police have photo of him in jumpsuit)

"Windows hit at synagogue" is perhaps the least urgent and most passive way possible to describe yet another racist attack on Jews during a historic wave of bigotry.
