The concept of Jude Bellingham finishing 11th in Ballon d’Or ranking after a great World Cup and Lionel Messi finishing in top 10 and potentially make top 5 because of the ‘World Cup’ is hilarious.

His page is full of calling Ronaldo names like "Homelander" and "Portuguese Inzaghi" I understand it if you do it as a kid but if you are still doing as a fully grown man with a beard and all, there is something seriously wrong with you at a brain level Football is never that serious
Imagine watching this and thinking Portuguese inzaghi is better LMAOOO we are never seeing another player like this

24 years ago today, Ye survived a near-death experience when he crashed his car, falling asleep at the wheel… Ye shattered his jaw and required emergency surgery. While having his mouth wired shut, he recorded his debut single, “Through the Wire.” “But I’m a champion, so I turned tragedy into triump.” Rest is history.

I mean, if this is the case, Newcastle might as well pump a billion in and in 2041-2042 be in the Championship for one season. Hardly a deterrent.
🚨 BREAKING: Manchester City are expected to face a HUGE points deduction that would guarantee relegation to the Championship, following guilty verdicts on the vast majority of their 115 financial charges. A further points deduction next season could keep City in the Championship for at least TWO seasons. Relegation to League Two is considered unlikely. [Daily Mail]

Has it not dawned on spastics like this that the money that comes from selling TV rights to international markets is the only reason a nothing club like Bournemouth is anywhere near European football in the first place? 💀

Dumbest argument ever. You sit there and get a platform from supporters from all over the world for the Premier League. You gladly take the views, the money and so on. Nothing is dumber and more obnoxious then the gatekeepers of supporting your local, always hypocrites.

Yep 💀 This international break has exposed football twitters lack of basic comprehension more than any other time period. Some of the currently popular opinions are absolutely diabolical.
"Errei ao colocar alguém da dimensão de Pelé ou Maradona a aquecer para depois não o colocar em jogo. Se fosse hoje não o faria." A quantidade de idiotas que não sabem que Jesus disse isto, palavra por palavra... 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

“When I received the news of my father’s death. I was at a training camp with our national team and I decided right then to stay until the next day’s game was over. I did that for my country, something I would never do for any club.” Yet Portuguese people disrespect this man 💔

He literally just explained everything yet I am seeing people disregard his literal words and still make the same arguments as before “Oh he was mad because he got benched” while he literally told you why he got mad
🚨🇵🇹 Cristiano Ronaldo: “I decided to leave the camp without waiting for any further breach of word. For me the truth is still the most important thing in the relationship between people. However much it hurts, let them tell me the truth. In fact, in a conversation I had with the President of the FPF and with the coach on the morning of the day of that press conference — they can certainly confirm this — I reaffirmed that if they did not want me there they should tell me. It was enough for them to be frank with me. I would accept that and I promised that we would prepare something beautiful, as I dream will happen, and no one would be left angry. I remember it as if it were today. They replied in unison that no. That my place was in the National Team. Never, at any moment, have I interfered in any technical or tactical decision of any coach or national team manager in almost 25 years of career. I accept, for better or worse, what they propose that I do. I respect the decision, and when they break their word to me, I feel that my place is not there. I also owe an apology to my national team teammates for having left the camp. Despite the absolute breach of trust in the coach’s word, as those who witnessed these conversations can attest, I should not have done it. The responsibility is exclusively mine. I apologise to the Portuguese people once again, but the breaking of one’s word has, for me, a defining impact. I felt that, from that point on, my remaining would only harm the working group, and I did what I have always said I would do if I did not feel useful: I packed my bags and left. The consequence of this act of mine must be assessed and punished by the Portuguese Football Federation. I understand that the punishment should have no mitigating factors. I am not just any player; I am team captain, and that constitutes an aggravating factor. I have already apologised, but I know that attitudes must have consequences. Anyone who is in football as I am knows that, regardless of each person’s status, the rules are the same for everyone. On this subject, I have heard a great deal of talk about farewell matches, that I must have a dignified farewell and that the Federation wants to give me that opportunity. I learned in life, often hungry and with nothing to eat, that no one gives anything to anyone. I can promise all my fans, naturally and especially all Portuguese people, that we will have one or more farewell matches; there will be time for that. But when I think of the national team, what I really think of is competing. That is what I thought on the day I was given the news of my father’s death. I was at a camp with our national team and I decided to stay there until the end of the match the following day. I did for the country what I would never do for any club. Therefore, if I am physically well, playing for my club, with goals I hope, after serving the suspension that may be applied to me, I will be available, as I have always been until today, to compete and win for our national team. This is, believe me, the purest of truths. Cristiano Ronaldo”.

1. Rodri, Oyarzabal, Cubarsi, Pedro Porro, Laporte, Llorente, Cucurella and debatably even Baena were all better than Yamal. 2. GORDON????
brah if Kane d’Or had any life left, we’d be running he wasn’t even top 2 players for England at the World Cup. Jude and Gordon cleared him 😭

The Prime Minister says he “can’t intervene MORE” in the process Strongly implies he’s intervened already, as much as he’s willing and able to Man City’s investment in Manchester should have absolutely ZERO influence on the sanctions for their cheating
UK Prime Minister, @andyburnham: “I'd be really concerned to lose them [#ManCity's owners]. They’ve been such a huge partner in the building of modern Manchester. Obviously, the building of Manchester City into the global force that it is. "I can’t intervene more in the process. It'd be wrong to do that. It'd be wrong to jump to a conclusion before having really studied all the detail, but obviously it’s ongoing, and because it’s still contested by Manchester City, I think it’s right that I don’t say much more..." Edu Aguirre: “You have to look after your star and protect your legend. You have to appreciate a man who puts his heart and soul into football, dedicates himself to serving his country and the Portuguese people, and even to serving Jorge Jesus himself. Because at 41 years old, it isn’t easy to maintain this level. To live and breathe football around the clock, take care of your body, endure the demands of intense training, and give everything you have to the sport, only to be met with this level of disrespect. What Jorge Jesus did was shameful, and it amounted to a betrayal. It was a moment when the ‘coach’s ego’ got the better of him. He wanted to prove that he was the one in charge, even though he doesn’t really hold any influence. But he wanted to make it clear to everyone that he was the one making the decisions, even if it came at Cristiano Ronaldo’s expense or at the expense of some petty Portuguese journalists, or that small section of Portuguese fans who harbor hostility toward Cristiano.”
