A day after Erdoğan speaks with Trump, he has shut down Bilgi University, among Turkey’s leading private universities, by decree, without explanation. Bilgi had been a thorn on his side. The timing is unlikely to be coincidental. Hours earlier, also after the Erdoğan-Trump exchange, a court effectively replaced the leader of the main opposition party, CHP. It looks like Erdoğan received a green light to turn Turkey into an even harsher dictatorship.

Morality police are returning to the streets in Iran.
The regime has announced the deployment of 80,000 “Hijab Enforcers” as part of a renewed crackdown to police women’s bodies and enforce compulsory veiling.
A chilling reminder that their war on women’s freedom is far from over.
They tried to break them with batons, prisons, and forced veils, but Iranian women are not backing down.
Believe it or not, this is Iran today. Bravery is always beautiful.
Across the country, women are no longer begging for permission to show their hair. They are walking unveiled through streets once ruled by the morality police and fear.
Compulsory veiling isn’t collapsing because the Islamic Republic is reforming, it’s collapsing because women themselves dismantled it, step by step. This is not obedience. It’s not negotiation. It’s a revolution born from courage a revolution that no regime can control. They now control only the schoolgirls, forced into hijab from the age of seven.
And tie courage of Iranian women is not stopping here. It’s the first step toward a secular democracy; a fight to reclaim a future where no one rules women’s bodies, minds, or destinies ever again!
