everything but a call for Blississippi!
Mississippi U.S. Senate Race Update Since Hinds County has not reported votes tonight tonight, I wouldn't expect a call in Mississippi's Senate race from VoteHub until next week at the earliest. Colom holds a small lead, and ballots reported since Election Day have been more favorable to him than the initial returns in each county. That suggests his lead is much more likely to grow than shrink. Hinds County, a heavily Democratic county that includes Jackson, also accounts for a disproportionate share of the estimated outstanding ballots, which should help him. The challenge is determining how many ballots remain statewide. Mississippi has a history of reporting substantial numbers of votes after Election Day, but it lacks a centralized system for tracking outstanding ballots like those in Arizona or California. Gathering that information requires contacting counties individually. We don't yet have enough information to rule out *with complete certainty* the possibility that a few Republican counties have enough outstanding ballots to give Hyde-Smith a path back. VoteHub currently has 28 uncalled federal and gubernatorial races, most of which are highly, highly unlikely to change leaders. Even compared to those other races, Mississippi is not very high on the list of those we consider most likely to flip.

For years, my dad battled Parkinson’s disease. On Election Night, I got to tell him, “Pop, we won.” This morning, he passed away. A part of me believes he held on just long enough to see his son make it to Congress. He won’t be there when I’m sworn in. But I know he’ll be standing right beside me. Rest easy, Daddy. I’ll take it from here. These next two years are for you ❤️

> sees crowd going absolutely apeshit for Abdul, giving him his flowers for pulling off a historic win in Michigan. > throws a random stray at a Dem who also had a very good night because of the apparent rush of staying bitter. It’s exhausting. Time to focus on governing.
I have no doubt the audience would have reacted the exact same way to Roy Cooper coming out.

It was a good day on Tuesday and I am glad a lot of candidates won. I helped the Biden campaign that won in 2020, including the rust belt states. I also worked for the campaigns of and served in the Administrations of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama - so that’s the last 3 Democratic Pres’ campaigns. One thing I didn’t do is push the campaign of a rapist with a Nazi tattoo.

i feel like a lot of people, both on X and IRL, are refusing to acknowledge this graph. i’m thrilled that AES, Jackson, Flanagan etc won. but Tuesday was proof that the populist moderate that pushes on issues like data centres and bipartisanship is the strongest rn!
Cannot be stressed enough how unbelievably stupid this take is. Steering away from partisan messaging was *the* defining feature of Talarico’s campaign. It led to him being last night’s clear MVP. Complaining that Talarico should message more like El-Sayed is…quite dubious.

This antisemitic claim that progressive Jewish voters aren't really Jewish or lack a Jewish identity is unacceptable and becoming more and more common in political discourse, from Trump to Ben Shapiro to now this member of the NYC Council. Jews are Jews. And to try to litigate who is and isn't Jewish based on their votes or advocacy is deeply harmful and offensive.
Replying to @JoeyMannarino
They’re Jews like I am a baseball player. Jews who have a strong Jewish identity vote conservative. I rep one of the most Jewish districts in NYC and they vote over 70%. But it is extremely frustrating to say the least to see some of these “as a Jew” Jews vote for those who are hell-bent on our destruction.

According to our 2026 Election Survey of Jewish voters, 72% of American Jews voted Democrat last night. There was no exodus. We'll have deeper results at our briefing tomorrow at 1 PM ET - RSVP here: us06web.zoom.us/webinar/regi…

In 2025, @bofrench asked Twitter, "Who is a bigger threat to America: Muslims or Jews?" Today, a Jewish engineer and his Muslim campaign manager ran circles around him across the entire state of Texas. Hope you got your answer, Bo. #txlege #RRC

Thank you, Colorado. Tonight, Colorado showed that in America, the son of a single mom who relied on Medicaid and food stamps can go on to serve in Congress.

Looks like Pat Harrigan and Mark Harris are both going to win Safe R races by a point or two in North Carolina. As bad as the U.S. House will get for Republicans, this is now the second map (along with Florida) where tons of Republicans will escape with razor thin margins. But, a ton of seats in FL and NC drawn to favor Republicans will flip as well.
