Just added a starter repository to go along with my APEXLang series. Full project structure, sample CLAUDE.md, commands, and Oracle skills already wired up. Clone it and you have a working starting point. Link in post 3. #orclapex #APEXLang

Part 2 of my APEXLang series is live! Before jumping into setup, I take a step back to go over the high-level architecture, because understanding how everything fits together makes the rest a lot easier to follow. askmax.blog/2026/05/27/apexl… #orclapex #APEXLang
It's been a while since I've written a blogpost, but APEX 26.1 gave me a good reason to come back. APEXLang changes how we think about APEX development. Your app is now files, Git, diffs, code reviews, and AI assistants that can actually help you build things. Part 1 of a 5-post series (so far) to help people get started with APEXLang 👇 askmax.blog/2026/05/25/apexl… #orclapex #APEXLang

I'm currently open to new Oracle APEX contracting opportunities. With 18+ years of experience, including time working directly with the Oracle APEX team and delivering solutions for Sensei Wellness (Larry Ellison), I operate at a top-tier level of APEX architecture, performance tuning, and complex problem-solving. I specialize in high-speed delivery, deep technical troubleshooting, and solving the problems others can't. Full-stack, architecture, UI/UX, integrations, optimizations, end-to-end. If you have upcoming APEX needs or know someone looking for elite-level APEX expertise, I'd appreciate the connection. Happy to discuss how I can support your project. @orclapex #orclapex

We've removed the code from the original APEX-SERT repository located on OraOpenSource, as it's very outdated and does not support modern versions of APEX. Please use the newer version from here on out: github.com/oracle-samples/ap… #orclapex

Why are APEX patchsets taking forever to be installed on paid ATPs? We're still on APEX 24.2.0. The first patchset was released about 3 months ago we're now 5 patchsets behind @OracleCloud #orclapex #oraclecloud

It's not like the patch process changed in the last 10-15 years... Last time it took about 6 months before the first patchset was installed.. With the upgrade window being only 90 days, I could see this being a major problem if facing a critical bug

Makes me reconsider upgrading anything shortly after a new version is made available :( Patchsets should be available much sooner than they currently are..
