I like how Claude and vscode and ChatGPT apps are getting more bloated and slower with each release while athas or t3 ecosystem are doing shit for the fun of it and they actually land. I love open source so much bro
Athas Browser is now open-source.
Give it a star!

Docker Desktop felt too heavy for my daily use, so I built my own. Introducing Kuvo:
• 2.5 MB native Mac app
• Runs its own Docker engine in a tiny VM, so no Docker Desktop needed
• Works with existing docker and docker compose
• Built-in terminal into any container
• kuvo CLI: exec, shell, copy files. Made for agents
If you like transparency, you should activate the stage manager on MacOS so there's always one app open at a time. If there's another app opened below, it doesn't look as good.
why do so many people copy (clone?) work of others, it’s very omnipresent in software these days. don’t they have personality or own ideas?
i’m often asked to copy this or that, but why would i do that instead of creating my own thing that is likely to end up better? i enjoy the process of creation, i don’t want to stand in one place. imo there’s no innovation in cloning.
Every software developer should own a potato PC. It's the easiest way to ensure your application is fast enough. Put your agents to work within it and watch the weight drop. There's no reason a machine from ten years ago shouldn't fly like superman.

Introducing FundMyCompute: a new model router with built-in community funding. Share what you're building. People back your project with compute credits. You use them to run AI models.
5 small things:
1. This is a concept, a prototype I built, for myself, and I'm using it.
2. This is not a fork. I saw what people do, and wanted to do it myself from scratch.
3. I don't have enough disk space to clone Chromium.
4. If you've been following me for a while now, you'd know I only share what I built and designed. I shared this because I was curious about what people would think.
5. I am proud about the animations and small details on the UI here because I designed them. Not the bundle size or its technology. That was the fastest way I can prototype it and I did.
