Not too much wrong with this. Might need to be a bit more pragmatic on the geography though 👏

The slow NHS-ification of the state is really quite striking
As @wesstreeting recently said (based on Ben's and my work on the NHS workforce plan)
"I like Amanda Pritchard (NHS chief executive) very much, but we’re in danger of making her Louis the 14th – ‘l’etat, c’est moi."

As a result, health continues to account for a growing fraction of overall public service spending: around 40% now, and on track to reach 45% by 2028. That compares to 32% in 2010 and 26% in 2000.
And all recommendations are actually correct…
Thrilled to launch our #UKUrbanFutures Commission report yesterday. In a month dominated by HS2, net zero and councils’ financial resilience, our calls for sustained investment in our cities could not be more timely.

All the focus on HS2 is on what happens next rather than the last 10 years. Whatever decision is made there are serious questions about the competence of the British state and successive administrations that a 330 mile high-speed train line has proven (apparently) impossible.
