Portland Public Schools in Maine, Dr. Abdullahi Ahmed, raised cultural and religious concerns regarding therapy dogs in schools.
He said therapy dogs are impure & should not touch Muslim kids.
Never mind the immense benefits & comfort that therapy dogs provide American children, never mind that dogs are treasured in our culture, no, it’s his backwards ideology that matters more, his culture which is incompatible with the majority population is the one we must bend the knee.
The school board is holding a vote to decide on the policy for therapy dogs.
We all know where this is headed.
