“i believe you,” sophie says, head nuzzling against audrey, eyes on the tv. “i still can’t believe she came back.” she knew it was for sofia, but it seemed a little late. “i’m surprised sofia even called her.”

“she was so mean,” sophie mutters, just glad that arizona was going back. they were finally happy, sophie wanted to keep it that way.

“good,” sophie says, breathing a sigh of relief. she knew the divorce had been hard on audrey. “i just don’t wanna see you get hurt again.”

moving next to audrey, sophie lays her head on her shoulder. “you’re not gonna get back with her, are you?”

sophie moves to sit on the bed, frowning. “i don’t know why you even answered her.”

sophie’s not sure she believes her, but she walks over anyway, setting the hot chocolate on her bedside table. “you sure? you can talk to me, you know.”

she’s knocking on @animaperdiita’s bedroom door, peaking her head in. “hey,” she says, walking in with a cup of hot chocolate for her. “you okay?”
