some of my fav Substack reads:
I like how personal essays on substack are so intimate.
people just share their thoughts, memories, desires, whimsies, and I feel like I am getting downloads of their mind that has a mix of gossip and wisdom.
they show their oddball selves and as a reader I sense certain friendship with them. like if we ever talked we would understand each other.

How do you explain this to a non- reader the process of books, from the time you hear about it to seeing whether it stays in your mind. Then one random day just ordering to waiting for it to arrive. Then slowly unpacking and smelling through its pages.
The calling & feeling 🤌🤌

POLICE IS USING TEAR GAS TO CRUSH PROTESTS
These visuals resemble an authoritarian regime - not a democracy.
Our democratic right to protest for our future, our education is being shelled with tear gas right now.

Visuals from the Parliament have security forces taking firing positions. Please don’t shoot at our country’s youth. They’re not making any unreasonable demands. They just want accountability for students dying because of govt incompetence!
How can this be the response?

The internet has been hijacked by marketing companies, shit content creators, and masterclass sellers. You either buy products or their courses, none of it will add any value to your life.
