Voici mon socle philosophique. On me demande souvent si je suis croyant.

Funny how few people realize this: one of the hardest problems AI still can't solve is planning and writing a story that's actually interesting. But we're working on it.

Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test. 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video. It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. This is the way 👏 “Our check sizes will be between $ 100K and $3 M of our own money. We will invest in any stage, any sector/industry, and any time horizon. We don’t need to lead rounds, take board seats, or meet ownership targets.”
News: We’re moving NFX to self-funded. Taking it private. No more external LP’s after fund IV. The four GP’s stay intact. 8 more big seed investments to make in Fund IV, so hit us up. After that, we'll be doing $100K - $3M investments w/ our own money. Thanks to @homebrew who led the way! @NFX @GigiLevy @peteflint @omri_drory nfx.com/post/self-funding-nf…

YC Winter 2027 is open. Deadline is November 2 at 8pm PT. Apply on time and you get a decision by December 11. Do not wait until the company looks finished. Reviews are already rolling, and YC funds idea-stage teams every batch. About 40% of accepted companies still have little or no revenue. Rejected before? Apply again. Roughly half of YC companies got in on a later try. Progress since last time is a strong signal. Miss the deadline? Still apply. Late applications get read. If you get in, funding starts immediately. Then it’s three months in San Francisco with a dedicated partner, founder dinners, and the alumni network for life. One clear sentence on what you build. One real thing each founder has shipped. If the idea still excites you, apply.

I used Opus 5.5 to formally verify the Claude Agent SDK using Lean. A couple short prompts = 16 PRs fixing various bugs and race conditions. Video attached. TLA+ also works well. I sometimes combine Lean and TLA+ to look for issues around data flow, concurrency, and state mgmt. I don't know either language well, but Claude is excellent at both. This approach is super useful for formally modeling your code and finding bugs that a human probably wouldn't have spotted. Is formal verification the future of coding (or at least, bug finding)?
