Today, members of the All India Independent Scheduled Castes Association (AIISCA) met with Hon’ble Member of Parliament Smt. Varsha Gaikwad to discuss our ongoing struggle for justice for Sahil Wakode, the Dalit student of IIT Bombay.
We raised our demand for a fair, independent and time-bound investigation, accountability, and concrete measures to address caste discrimination in higher educational institutions.
Our struggle is not just for Sahil , it is for every Dalit, Adivasi and marginalised student who deserves dignity, equality and a safe environment to learn.
