I brought my half eaten loaf of sourdough on the plane and now im eating bread from a local portuguese bakery in vienna which... idk... bread is so ubiquitous that bringing it from a different country is kind of funny to me

just completed the worst yearly task (trying on all the cold season pants I haven't worn in at least six months, attempting to make decisions, fighting off the Bad Thoughts, spacing out)

I haven't even been pregnant or postpartum in my life and I already see the wisdom in the women of olde always just wearing loose flowy dresses. pants are SO unforgiving!!! even throughout the month there's a rotating cast of pants I can wear or not 😩

I'm trying to declutter as I go through the clothes and some pieces I don't like anymore but I kind of just want to keep in case I suddenly need a few smaller or bigger things without going shopping. I wish I could just keep things I love but it's not practical...

the vet prescribed my cat a paste for her immune system and it's an interesting combination of ingredients. I kind of want it.

honestly eating when im sick and lost my sense of smell feels horrible, like the whole pleasure of smell and taste is gone so i'm just hyper aware that i have to put organic matter inside my mouth and swallow it in order to survive and that's frankly kind of disgusting

it's hard to be a milk lover in portugal. in the US I was treating myself to organic A2A2 non-homogenized cream-on-top whole milk in glass bottles... here I often need to choose between fresh or whole bc there's 1 brand of fresh milk that's often out of stock, it's so sad

I have discovered $50 amazon photo frames to be the PERFECT home display screen They can be rooted, updated to run a modern browser, have WiFi and can be powered from USB 1280×800 resolution with a nice touch screen I detailed how to hack these yourself in my latest video wesbos.com/hacking-smart-pho…

went to a playgroup this morning w nannytoddler and felt really socially anxious lol... its weird to go "actually I'm his nanny, yeah" 5-10 times in a single morning. people either start apologizing for assuming (its fine!) or kind of smile and go "ah" and then go somewhere else bc they want to bond with other parents (I understand!) but. yeah. I'm the odd one out
