Irish Army cannot become a tool of Israel?
Buddy, the Irish Army is about 7,800 people with no tanks, no combat aircraft, and a budget that wouldn’t buy the fuel for a week of Merkava operations. You could fit the entire active force into the parking lot of one Israeli base and still have room for the canteen.
Israel isn’t trying to use your army. Your army couldn’t be used for a toothpick. The only thing it might destroy is the idea that Ireland has a serious military.

Irish Army cannot become a tool of Israel.
It can’t be allowed to happen.
It would destroy Ireland.

Lines from the Mahabharata section in my swipe file that I enjoy coming back to:
"Often the one who understands that he does nothing is the one who brings revolutionary change."
"In life, the choice is rarely between struggle and peace. It's between struggle and less struggle." — Ganga
"You don't stop crying when you stop the tears."
"Change doesn't bring sorrow, but it always brings pain. That's why we resist it. Yet change is nature's principle, and nature's product is joy. In the end, all change brings joy."
"Self-confidence is but a state of mind. And our state of mind is in our hands."
Drona: A warrior must know his limitations. Your eyes are your limitation.
Arjun: Not my eyes, Gurudev. Darkness is.
Drona: If you can't break a stone, is your hand the limitation, or the stone?
"Only the competent are tested. To teach patience to the rest."
"A person who accepts every challenge has no faith in himself. A confident person accepts challenges according to his plans."
"A man isn't made small or big by his tasks, but by his actions."
"Don't measure age by the years one has lived, but by the sacrifices one has made."
"One who feels only their own sorrow becomes weak and suffers. One who holds the world's suffering in their heart becomes strong."
"Karya ki safalta tab milti hai jab shareer chanchal ho aur mann sthir."
(Success comes when the body is restless and the mind is still.)
Draupadi to Karna: "Adharm mukut mein nahi, mukut ki laalsa mein basta hai. Kahin aapne apni laalsa ko kartavya ka naam toh nahi de diya?"
(Adharma doesn't live in the crown. It lives in the craving for it. Have you named your craving duty?)
Draupadi: The Pandavas didn't even protest Duryodhan's injustice? And you call them powerful?
Krishna: Those who protest aren't always powerful. Those who tolerate can be.
Draupadi: How is tolerating injustice powerful?
Krishna: When the heart is emptied of protest and anger, tolerance becomes the strength of dharma. Anger gives rise to revenge. Dharma gives rise to justice.
"Chhal ka aashay yadi dharm ho, toh chhal bhi dharm hai."
(If the intent behind deceit is dharma, then the deceit is dharma too.)
"Dharma is like the sun, ever bright, bringing the day. Love is like the moon, comforting, but it also brings darkness."
"Where there is struggle, there is no love. Where there is love, there is no struggle."
"Our dharma is to live at peace with humanity, with compassion. That is the root of dharma."
"Good behaviour isn't a way to future happiness. Good behaviour is happiness personified. The same goes for bad behaviour. Dharma isn't the means to happiness. Dharma is happiness itself."
"The thorn on the tree only protects the tree."
"Man believes he makes his own decisions. But one whose vision is clouded by emotion cannot. Those decisions are made by fate." — Vedvyas
"Sukh pehchanne ki vastu hai, praapt karne ki nahi."
(Joy is something you recognise, not something you acquire.)
"One who wishes for joy doesn't get it. One who knows joy does. If you know what joy means to you, you shall have it."
"Joy and contentment aren't places. They're paths. The path of joy leads to struggle. The path of contentment leads to peace." — Krishna

You guys dont get it. Most sanghis are not sanghis. They just hate everything your ilk stands for.
In a way you revived Indian nationalism.
Which I think is a good thing.
Thank you.

J. Prasad : Now, when you go and break a barricade, the chances of 10 or 20 more people in violation of a 163 are very high. Again, I'm not saying good, bad, indifferent. There can be people who might not be under your control. Who might not be in your control and who do things.
Feel for the late great Dr Ambedkar. He literally burnt the candle at both ends, destroyed his own health in the process, and delivered to us our Constitution. Was it all for nothing?
the constitution never has and never will protect Muslims, Adivasis, Dalits, queer people, or any other marginalised community. Sharjeel Imam is spot on in his analysis. what you lot are doing now is labeling him a fascist and Islamist, and it definitely won't help with his incarceration. none of you have any good-faith criticism to offer but actively helping the state by furthering harmful narratives against him.
free sharjeel imam.
विश्व रत्न बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर की constitution, he means.
“It is my belief that the Constitution … is a roadblock to dignified existence of Muslim community and other religious minorities in India — and hence I do not belong to ‘Save the Constitution club’.”
— Sharjeel Imam, in an interview to The Quint
Liberals and secularists have been angry with Sharjeel Imam ever since he made those remarks.

First time in 21 years of practicing law I have heard of sureties being asked ‘address and parentage’ of the accused or indeed any questions at all. How long does this govt think such tactics will work? Economy is tanking; they recommend making pakoras or driving taxis; people who protesting are locked up. Vinaasha kaale vipreet buddhi.

Yet another Maharastrian dancer's Bharatanatyam arangetram. Wish these stories are broadcast far and wide to show how the art form has been so democratized that a young girl, from not so privilieged background from Kurla's Nehru Nagar could find a teacher, get on to the stage.

Perfect Monday in Paris:
08:00 - Wake up to sirens outside
09:00 - Check the news. Another “mostly peaceful” protest planned for today
10:00 - Arrive at work, half the office is on strike
12:00 - Begin 4 hour lunch
16:00 - Discuss dangers of far-right politics with an African waiter who doesn't speak French
17:00 - Walk home, observe five Black teenagers borrowing clothes from the Louis Vuitton store
19:00 - Watch President Macron speech explaining that “moments like this test our commitment to democracy”
21:00 - Write an angry Twitter post that American accounts are spreading propaganda about France
22:30 - Fall asleep to the sound of police helicopters surrounding your neighborhood
Paris remains the most beautiful city in the world
