I love saying “sounds good” at work when I don't give a fuck.

Making myself a playlist of my favourite Suede & Manics songs as I'm seeing them this weekend

Appointing Eddie Howe would be a clear indication of an acceptance of mediocrity. So I'm fully expecting it to happen.

The same Mum on the junior football chat has asked the same question 3 weeks in a row. What time is this weekends game? The answer is always the same, we don't find out until the Tuesday before. She's sending me under. How can one person be so dense?

Don’t think the club has ever been this low. Standards are rock bottom, no sign of hope, executive board completely lacking in quality and leadership, silence from those above, all put - unfairly - on Carrick’s shoulders. Let alone the squad being the most dysfunctional it’s ever been. Glazers have to sell up and go. The club is rotting from top to bottom and only getting worse. It’s sleep walking into irrelevance.

That should be it for Carrick now. Pretty sad. Some good moments last season and I genuinely thought they might have some momentum going into this season. It's been truly abysmal though. Shame Wilcox won't follow him out of the door. What a mess.

If you asked Mick McCarthy if this can get any worse, he'd say no.

Diogo Dalot's end product on an extremely windy day could be interesting. Good chance of him reaching Deansgate #mufc

This Bournemouth opener seems absolutely inevitable.

There was a Cody Johnson concert in town last night (yeah, me neither). So many grown men in bars wearing stetsons. Deeply embarrassing for all concerned.

Gonna throw this out there while no-one is watching...Westlife were good tonight. I really enjoyed it. We get it though, you're from Ireland...

Gone a little too big on the vodka & Red Bull pre-Westlife. In an Uber to the Co-op now... Flying with wings, more like.

Just trying to figure out how much I'll have to drink tomorrow to make the Westlife gig bearable. I think I've come to the conclusion that it'll be "a lot".
