Good Tuesday morning, friends! ☀️ “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 (NIV)🙏 There's something beautiful about watching a garden come to life in the morning. The sunshine reaches through the leaves, the flowers open toward the light, and everything seems to remind us of the goodness of God's creation. Jesus used the simple picture of a vine and its branches to teach us something important about our relationship with Him. A branch cannot grow or produce fruit when it's separated from the vine. It depends on that connection for everything it needs. And in much the same way, we need to stay connected to Jesus if we want our lives to reflect His love, patience, kindness, and goodness. Sometimes we get so busy trying to handle everything ourselves that we forget where our strength really comes from. We make our plans, carry our worries, and push through one responsibility after another, often without taking a moment to ask God for His guidance. But Jesus never intended for us to walk through life depending only on our own strength. Staying close to Him doesn't mean every day will be easy or that we won't face difficulties. It means we have someone to turn to when life gets hard, someone who gives us wisdom when we're uncertain, and someone whose love remains steady even when everything around us seems to change. And the fruit we produce isn't always something big that everyone notices. Sometimes it's showing patience when we're frustrated, offering kindness to someone who's struggling, forgiving someone who has hurt us, or choosing faith when worry would be easier. Those little things matter. They are often the very ways God's love shines through us. So before this Tuesday gets busy, take a few moments to spend time with the Lord. Invite Him into your plans, your conversations, your decisions, and even the ordinary little moments of your day. Let's pray: 🙏 Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of another beautiful morning. Thank You for waking us up today, for the blessings we sometimes overlook, and for the promise that we never have to face this life without You. Lord, help us remain close to Jesus, just as the branches remain connected to the vine. Teach us to depend on Your strength instead of trying to carry every burden on our own. Guide our thoughts, our words, and our actions today. Help us show patience when things don't go as planned, kindness when someone needs encouragement, and understanding when we encounter people who may be fighting battles we know nothing about. Father, I lift up those who are beginning this morning with heavy hearts. Be near those who are sick, those waiting for test results, those facing difficult treatments, and those caring for loved ones who cannot care for themselves. Give them comfort, strength, and renewed hope. Please watch over those who are grieving, those who feel lonely, and those who are worried about their families, their finances, or what tomorrow may bring. Remind them that they are seen, loved, and never forgotten. Protect our children and grandchildren. Watch over those traveling to work or school, those serving our communities, and those working long hours to provide for their families. Lord, help us bear good fruit today. Let our lives reflect Your love in the way we treat others, the choices we make, and the kindness we share. And when we grow tired or discouraged, remind us to return to You, the true source of our strength, peace, and purpose.
