if i had a dollar for every time the ballon d’or told a madrid player he’s winning the award then gave it to someone else the day of the ceremony i’d have $2 which isn’t a lot but it’s funny that it happened twice
they’re trying to build a whole new team but you cannot discard someone who dedicated their ENTIRE career to you to do so. you cannot ignore and betray a player who got you out of the trenches and won you the league during one of your worst seasons
they treat him like companies that hire models to film social media content instead of using their actual employees
