Three takeaways from tonight's Montreal Canadiens' 5-2 win over the St Louis Blues. 1- Jake Evans has been Montreal's most consistent forward. He'll never produce huge offensive numbers but has played a solid two way game and has tried to drag his teammates into the fight when they've lacked emotion. Evans is in a contract year and it's going to be interesting to see if Montreal sees him as part of the long term plan, or will see what they can get at the trade deadline. 2- Kirby Dach's best game and it's not even close. The Habs look like a completely different team when he's on his game. And they so desperately need secondary scoring. There might be fluctuation in his play early this season but he's such an important piece of the rebuild. It was encouraging not only to see him score but he play with pace with the puck was consistently finding him. 3- The game featured the two favorites for the goaltending spots for Canada at the Four Nations Faceoff. Jordan Binnington made a highlight reel save on Jake Evans and Sam Montembeault made key saves early that helped settle his team down. They both also showed why they aren't locks to make the team and the starting job will go to whoever is playing best in three months from now. Remember every RT and like helps. :) @tsn690 #tsn690

Bad partners pursue their interests at your expense. They'll hurt you if it helps them. Good partners value your interests as much as theirs. They strive for win-win. Great partners internalize your interests as theirs. They take pride in your success and joy in your happiness.

Hands down the greatest commercial ever created during the SuperBowl. This was my childhood wrapped neatly into a 60-second commercial. How many characters can you spot?

- Stone goes on LTIR - Vegas uses his $9.5m cap to acquire Hanifin and Hertl - Stone comes back for game 1 - Stone and Hertl score one goal each, Hanifin assists both I'm seeing Vegas fans genuinely tweaking that no one likes them. They seriously don't get it.

This video is heavily sped up. The original can be seen here: youtube.com/watch?v=i0Rv0_… The payloads each truck carries are unclear. Tesla Semi's are often used to carry light loads, such as bags of potato chips: futurism.com/the-byte/tesla…

Advising companies allows me to see the pitfalls. The #1 trait I see with bad leadership... Opacity In the absence of information, people make up their own. And the human brain will always spiral to the negative. It's a survival trait. If you don't know the roadmap? Say it. If you are running out of money? Say it. If you are second guessing if have product market fit? Say it. Stop thinking you are shielding your employees from the chaos. They will feel it. The formula for transparent leadership is: Problem + Proposed Solution OR Problem + Unknown Solution + timeline / strategy to get to solution Transparency > Opacity

Have you heard of the "Introvert Economy?" A rising wave of consumers are going out to dinner earlier, if at all, with some restauranteurs saying "5pm is the new 8pm." Teens are using drugs less, drinking less, having less sex, and attending fewer in-person parties or gatherings. Younger generations rely more on apps to meet people vs talking to strangers IRL. Many are choosing to stay home, watch Netflix, play games, or choose quieter activities. I wrote about it for @worthmag... worth.com/how-the-introvert-…

This is the one thing I've believed to my core over the past 5 years. History will look back at this age as the "Era of the Individual". An era where we saw people start one-person, one-billion dollar companies. Combine AI + media + ecosystem partners + remote work.
Replying to @mastermaq
"We need to start empowering the individual to use their global ecosystem," says @ShawnKanungo. He predicts we will one day have a one-person billion dollar business. "And it'll likely be a woman!" #SUCanSummit

WTF @flairairline ! It was bad enough that your CSR told me that I had to pay a $99 fee simply to change the name on my booking to my dad's name...but when I did this online it turned out to be $208. That is outright thievery and lying. #flairairlines @Transport_gc

The bifurcation of music has resulted in 'artists' and 'performers'...and they are 2 very different animals. Artists hone their craft, explore the unknown for the sake of creativity, and respect & support the artistic community. Drake (& others like him) are simply performers.
