Do better LeBron.
LeBron decided to practice his golf swing during the national anthem last night. I can’t wait until he retires, he’s been toxic for the entire NBA.

The @WNBA is a poorly managed league full of people with personal agendas that don’t align with what the fan base of the sport supports. Do not be surprised the league doesn’t survive the next 10 years.
The WNBA Finals teams left the court shortly before “The Star-Spangled Banner” was performed during both Game 1 and Game 2. They returned to the court within seconds after the national anthem ended. Absolutely anti-American and disgraceful. And they wonder why people hate the league?

Good story
Alex Golesh's parents left Moscow with two kids, four hundred dollars and no English. Today as coach of Auburn he beat number 1 Georgia His father was a telecommunications engineer. In New York he drove a truck. His mother was a medical aide. She cleaned houses. Their seven year old is the head coach at Auburn. Tonight he walked into Athens and beat number one Georgia on the road. Here is the whole thing. The Soviet Union was coming apart. Vladimir and Bella Golesh decided they were taking their sons out. Here is the father, on why. "We were scared." "We didn't know exactly what life would be like. We just knew we had to get to America." "Leaving Russia was the only decision." It took about two years of paperwork and interviews before they could go. An aunt in New York sponsored them and met them at the airport. They brought a few bags of clothes and four hundred dollars. Not one of them spoke the language. They landed in Brooklyn and lived in a two bedroom apartment above a bodega. Alex was seven and learned English at school. Now here is what he actually remembers about arriving in America. Bananas. "I loved bananas. That was like my thing." "They were really hard to get. They were like a delicacy almost." "Man, in America, you can get all the bananas you want." That was the measure of the whole country to a seven year old. You could have as many bananas as you wanted. He remembers the street vendors too, and wanting to try what he had only seen people on television having. "I was like, I just want to try that." "I thought it was the greatest thing I'd ever tasted." Later the family moved to Ohio because it was cheaper to live there. And that is where he saw this sport for the first time. Here is how he describes figuring out what he was watching. "These dudes are running around and hitting people, and it's encouraged. Like, people are clapping for people smacking people." "That was the first time I ever saw a college football game. I thought it was the coolest thing ever." Here is his wife Alexis. "I'm absolutely astonished every time I hear the story." "Alex had never even seen American football." And here is the line from him that explains all of it. "When you're a kid, you don't really know what you don't have." His father never stopped working. He drove for a pizza company, then managed a store, then ran a warehouse. And his mother, who got off that plane unable to say one sentence in English, works for a language translation service now. A man who fixed telephone lines in Moscow got in a truck in New York instead. His wife cleaned other people's houses. They did it with four hundred dollars and no way to ask anybody for help. Tonight their kid walked into Sanford Stadium and beat the best team in the country in front of its own crowd. 27 to 24, on a field goal at the end. Here is the last thing his father said about leaving. "We are free." For more stories like this, follow us on any platform @thesportsontap

"There's not 24 teams in the country that deserve to be in the playoffs ... I don't think there's 24 teams in the country that can win the championship." Nick Saban reiterated his concerns about a potential expansion to a 24-team College Football Playoff in 2027.

At the risk of getting crushed (again) this week, I’ll hesitantly point out that death penalties in the Bible were performed publicly before “all the assembly” (Leviticus 24:14) This was because there was not just 1 purpose (justice) for capital punishment; there were 2 purposes… 1) Justice, AND… 2) Public deterrence, so the rest of the people “shall hear and fear, and never again do any such evil” (Deut 13:11)

Ray Kerr was working at a 7-Eleven and a movie theater, thinking his baseball career was over. Then he got signed for $2,000 and spent seven seasons in the minors. He just dominated the Phillies over 3.1 scoreless in his first MLB postseason game.

This behavior is why the ncaa will knee jerk and remove any and all celebrations from kids in moments like touchdowns. Kids hurting themselves by acting like un-parented heathen delinquent juveniles
Refs: No sir-- you MAY NOT mime urination with a gigantic uber-penis after a sack Also refs: You MAY, in fact, mime smelling your own taint sweat and subsequently fainting ... THAT is perfectly acceptable and normal behavior

Gratitude changes the way you see everything. “If you can practice gratitude, what it will give you back is a joyful life.” - Molly Miller It’s easy to focus on what’s missing. Great teams appreciate what they have—and the opportunity in front of them.

Justin Verlander has played 21 seasons in the majors. His final start was today. After 5⅓ innings, manager A.J. Hinch came out to take him out, then pointed to the stands. Genevieve, his 7-year-old daughter, sprinted onto the field in his jersey, ran to the mound, and hugged him. He started shaking and crying. He had no idea it was coming. Then he walked off holding her hand.❤️ His wife Kate and their little boy Bellamy (1) met them at the dugout.

WOW! Senator Katie Britt just UNLEASHED on Democrats after not a single one showed up for today's hearing on Safety in Women's Sports: "It can't go unspoken that not one member on the other side of the aisle has had the respect for women to come in here and ask questions, to figure out how we get this right, how we stand up for fairness, for safety, for an opportunity for young women across the country." "It's absolutely ABSURD."
