Do I care about results of Israeli election? Nothing is at stake in Israel and nothing at all will change as a result of the elections but … there is a small chance the US could use a Netanyahu defeat to extricate itself from a war in Iran it has lost and Trump wants finished

Looking at the turnout and internal polling, Netanyahu has concluded that Likud can be the biggest party and that his best bet is to aggressively pursue a unity government. The main candidate to peel off will be Bennet.

Increased pessimism in the Eisenkot camp. The turnout seemed to heavily favor them heavily early on, but the hysteria of the Likud worked and turnout improved. Meanwhile, Bennet has gotten stronger at his expense. So they are planning for a situation where they are the second-largest party but have the larger bloc behind them.

Seems a lot more likely we get a Bibikot NUG than Eizenkot coalitioning with Arab parties
Half-way through Election Day and turnout is highest in over 50 years. In part driven by the Arab vote. If this continues until 2200 the Netanyahu bloc will shrink further and the hard-right Amcha Yisrael party increasingly unlikely to cross the electoral threshold. OTOH also the Eisenkot bloc will be smaller and the only option for them to form a government will be some kind of deal with the Arab parties.

🇮🇱⚡- Benjamin Netanyahu has privately accepted the US-offer in forming a unity government with Gadi Eisenkot while excluding Itamar Ben-Gvir from any future coalition arrangement with Yashar, Israel Hayom reports.
