“Referring to the report on Gaza she recently completed, she says: "The last thing I did is the delivery of the report on Gaza, naming what's happening there as genocide."
Amazing moment.

We are at the Nuremberg Court; I cannot think of a stronger symbol for her Nobel prize.
We are all so thrilled!
This is her first reactions upon hearing the news:

Gaza is now largely out of mind for many around the world, but not if you're one of the 94 percent of Gazans who lack shelter as winter approaches. And of course the US provided weapons in ways that make us complicit in that nightmare.

Read that again.
They're "hunting" children for fun.

Huge parts of the world walk out on one of the most justly hated demons on the planet -- Netanyahu -- while about a handful of countries plus small delegations from a few of the US's paid-off tiny colonies remain in an empty hall.
Apt symbolism for Israel's global isolation.

A very wise post.

Israeli officials casually discuss ethnic cleansing, speaking of Palestinians as a “surplus population” to be removed—as though the only question is where to send them.
This is blatant racism. And the world is not merely watching; it is actively facilitating it.
According to the report from France 24:
“Israel has plans ready to remove Palestinians from the Gaza Strip but is waiting for the United States to figure out where to take them, the Israeli defence minister said Wednesday.
"There is no real solution for Gaza in the end without this migration,"
The Israeli government "is organised and prepared to get them out – by sea, by air, by every way possible", he said.

Israel’s pressure on the Christian presence in Jerusalem continues. Christian schools in the city are going on strike because Israel refuses to issue permits to their West Bank teachers.

And I think it it utterly ridiculous that humanity is expected to entertain the fantasies of white European people who live in the US but believe they are actually remnants of an old semitic tribe from West Asia (from an era and a kingdom archeology was never able to establish as real), which supposedly endows them with a unique perspective on human affairs and morality. Enough with this crap
I never thought I would see in my lifetime two Jewish people on @TheDailyShow talk about David becoming Goliath in the context of Israel's genocide. Bravo @PeterBeinart #JohnStewart

The Western media manufactures consent for genocide. It normalizes Israel’s decades-long military occupation and apartheid. It erases Israel’s flagrant violations of international law. It perpetuates the fallacy of Israeli victimhood. It betrays, discredits and demonizes the work of Palestinian journalists and media workers in Gaza, at least 220 of whom have been killed by Israel between Oct. 7, 2023, and August 2025. It supinely accepts draconian Israeli censorship. It acquiesces with tepid letters of protest at Israel’s refusal to allow foreign reporters in Gaza — an effort by Israel to mask its war crimes. It amplifies Israeli lies to obfuscate the truth.
Words matter. Words justify actions. If there is no genocide, if Israel is defending itself in a war, the U.S. and Israel’s European allies have the right to provide tens of billions of dollars in military aid. If this is a war begun by Hamas on Oct. 7 then it is possible to lament the obliteration of Gaza and mass slaughter by Israel as a regrettable result of the Hamas attack.
Slogans which call for Palestinian liberation — including “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” — along with the Palestinian flag, have been criminalized.
The message is clear: Jewish lives matter. Palestinian lives do not.

Gaza has the highest concentration of child amputees in the world (at the peak of Israeli bombing, 10 kids were losing limbs daily), UNRWA says. And now Israel is now blocking prosthetic limbs from entering Gaza. All this has happened with US support or complicity.
🚨Aid coalition chief: Israel blocks wheelchairs, prosthetics, watermelons, and fresh produce from entering Gaza
Athena Rayburn, executive director of the Association of International Development Agencies, which represents more than 100 humanitarian and development NGOs operating in the occupied Palestinian territory, detailed Israel’s sweeping restrictions on aid during a UN Security Council briefing Wednesday.
🔹Israel rejects scissors, crutches, wheelchairs and prosthetic limbs as “dual-use,” bars medical specialists and restricts engine oil so severely that its price has risen to 45 times normal levels, bringing aid operations to “an absolute breaking point,” Rayburn said.
🔹Israeli authorities have also rejected watermelon and onions under an unpublished “humanitarian policy,” deregistered more than 30 international aid groups and repeatedly moved the supposedly fixed Yellow Line, cutting access to at least 85 water points, schools and health clinics.
“Humanitarian assistance, by its nature, cannot be conditioned,” Rayburn said, noting Israel was shrinking “almost daily” the physical space in Gaza where aid groups can operate.
Everyone knows what happened, this is how you reported it, “found dead.”
