A pleasure to hear @DerynRJ on this week's @bbcpoetryplease hear her read 'Summer' and learn that she has a new collection out next year. Been too long. Alongside a good selection of other poems there's an interesting discussion of the late John Burnside. bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0020j…

Thanks for this @juliehes ❤️
As any kind of creative it can be hard to admit when you lose that spark and figuring out how to get it back can be a lonely process so I’m glad it resonates!
Grateful to have poetry that helps us fall back in love with this world 🫶
Thank you @juliehes for including National Poet of Wales @hanan_issa_'s conversation with @McgoughRoger in your BBC Pick of the Week yesterday. On writing when the world is in turmoil and how poetry might help us reconnect.

Lovely to hear #MennaElfyn & @idharker read their poems on @BBCRadio4's @bbcpoetryplease with guest poet @hanan_issa_. The beautiful recording of the poem by the late American poet #JackGilbert from his 2006 UK selected #Transgressions, is taken from a @BrinkerhoffPoem film.

Great edition of @bbcpoetryplease with @McgoughRoger. Guest poet @seanehewitt chose and introduced requested poems, including @hannahlowepoet's sonnet 'House' from #TheKids and @jsamlarose's 'Song for a Spent 100w Bulb' from his debut #BreakingSilence.
