shane immediately picking up that ilya seeks physical comfort often- touching his ears, rubbing his feet together, constantly touching shane, too, and craving things that feel soft and warm to the touch. now shane buys all the best blankets and slippers and fuzzy socks to help soothe ilya, especially when he's sad. sometimes he comes home to ilya wrapped in the softest blankets on their sofa & he doesn't have to say a word, just climbs in behind ilya to scoop him up & hold him under the covers
