Today I learned a term called 'Delayed Selfhood': When a child lives in a high-stress survival mode, their brain prioritizes the amygdala (the fear center) over the prefrontal cortex (the social and emotional learning center). When that person finally reaches a safe place in adulthood( financially or physically ), the "freeze" thaws, and they suddenly have to learn things like social cues or how to trust that others learned at age five.. 1//3

Being “high functioning” is such a strange experience. It’s basically being disabled while everyone around you assumes you’re fine because you’ve managed to keep things together.
Your struggles become invisible, your needs get dismissed, and people start acting like you have no reason to complain. The moment you admit you’re having a difficult time, you’re made to feel like you’re exaggerating because you supposedly have it better than people with more visible or severe difficulties.

Omg I did NOT “quit the military” to “do porn” I was already medically retired a couple of years (disabled vet) before I started doing this in 2017. I did, however, give up a 6 fig contracting IT job to pursue this full time tho. And yes, I did initially start with my son’s father lol
So to answer your question, Megan did body recomp. Not just weight loss. This is why lifting weight is important. Body recomp makes the chances of loose skin less likely. While people can have loose skin no matter, unless you’re BIG like I was, not enough for a procedure
