🌾Mangzhong (芒种, also named 忙种) is the ninth of the 24 solar terms and the third for the summer season. It usually begins around June 5-7 when the Sun reaches the celestial longitude of 75 Degree and ends around June 21 at 90-degree celestial longitude.

This weekend, let's meet at the 2nd Hydro90 Hydrology Youth Symposium😉 Meeting Link：🔗meeting.tencent.com/dw/LjhnD… 🔗koushare.com/topic-hd/i/Hydr… The schedule is attached below:

Xiaoman (small full) is the 8th of the twenty-four solar terms. During this period, the seeds of summer crops begin to become plump but are not yet ripe. The southern China generally experiences heavy rainfall; in the north, there is little or no rain.

Today is the 5th solar term on Chinese lunisolar calendar, called #Qingming #清明 #PureBrightness. Ancestor worship and outdoor activities during Qingming are introduced in very detail by 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival', a handscroll painting during 1085-1145 A.D.

Today is #Chunfen #春分, also known as Spring Equinox, which begins when the Sun reaches the celestial longitude of 0° and ends when it reaches the longitude of 15°. On this day, daytime is approximately equal to nighttime so that many people call it as a ‘balanced’ spring day.

💡Hydro90 Hydrology Youth Symposium (2nd) is coming on May 28-29, 2022. 👩‍🎓Aim to promote networking and communications among young scholars. 🙋‍♀️Apply to serve as a workshop convener by March 31! International researchers are welcome!! 🔗For more details, check the threads!
