Thank you to @ISBEnews for providing our district with the opportunity to develop a full K-8 STEM environment through the Digital Equity Grant. Kicked things off today with 4th graders at @D59Ridge using @Sphero Blueprint. Future engineers right here. #CCSD59Learns #STEMeducation

And because you know I couldn't pass up the chance to fly that drone again. (Yes, I asked the Sheriff if it was ok to fly it here) Note: Timelapses in the wind are a bit shaky. #ClearedForTakeoff #AvoidedAllTheTrees #D59Learns #TogetherWeCan
More photos from the day. Brain is still a bit too warm from the sun to come up with a good tweet description, so this is what you get. Sorry. #D59Learns #TogetherWeCan 2/3
That was quite amazing. Day 2 of our @CCSD59 staff, families, and community connecting in incredible ways. Really thankful for everyone who made this possible. And, I can't just pick 4 photos, so it's going to take a few tweets worth of sharing. #D59learns #TogetherWeCan 1/3
Connected to my last tweet. Plus, a little fun with the drone. It was warm in the sun. The turn out was great; just lots of hiding in the shade. @CCSD59 @D59JohnJay #d59learns #BusyKonaIceTruck

Last week, Grove Junior High hosted its first Cultural Bash, where students and staff showcased their favorite sites, flavors, keepsakes, and performances from their native countries.
Take a look at this celebration of the diverse population we learn with every day! #D59Learns

Helping families submit this application was a major priority this week. So many are still behind on rent and despite returning to work, families are playing catch up. Please spread the word. SS#’s are not required to apply. #werisebyliftingothers #d59cares #maslowHN

What an absolute honor to get to spend time at @D59ForestView yesterday reading to Ms. Kim's 5th grade classroom. It's been more than a handful of years since my 5th grade teaching days, & the class made me feel right back at home. Thanks for being such amazing hosts. #D59Learns
