I am not a fan of the term “UGC” as it’s currently being used.
From my understanding, the original meaning of UGC was content that users of your product created organically. It was a byproduct of the design and intent of a product.
Paying someone to produce the same kind of content and calling it UGC feels weird, like it’s a sneaky trick to create the illusion of users organically sharing your product, but they’re all paid partners.
Can’t we just call it “creator marketing”?
Been having fun testing some different shorts content and formats lately
This latest one on Simulation Theory seems to have hit, never had a post get traction this quick
I listened to this MFM pod with @Rizstanford on my way to work yesterday and loved it.
I had always heard of Simulation Theory in passing, but had never explored it beyond the surface.
I then went on to the rest of my day, but could not help myself from continuing to ponder the theory.
I was sitting in an all day training at work with some fairly dry material, so I thought to myself, during this training I will keep my eyes open and see if I can observe any indications of the Simulation Theory, any glitches in the matrix, so to speak.
About two hours later, the discussion during the training drifted to AI and AI agents, then out of the blue, the training instructor asked the class, "Has anyone ever heard of the Simulation Theory?"
My heart skipped a beat and I smiled wide.
Maybe this was merely coincidence or a moment of synchronicity.
Or maybe it was the Simulation at play 🤔
Had to take my 10-month-old daughter to the ER at 3 AM last night
It’s amazing how every nagging worry, thought and wish goes out the window when your child falls ill
It snaps you our of your head and instantly puts into perspective what’s truly important in life
She is totally fine and is at home resting and recovering now, thank you God 🙏
