Sleeper pick to go off at the next level with the arm on the mound. EZ to dream on and the video speaks for itself! Loose fluid full circle arm stroke with ease to operate. Ball jumps from hand! ATHLETIC!
PLUS arm from CF with online lasers with accuracy. Knows he can throw and will show it off!

Huge congrats to @mmhs_baseball star LHP @Johnstonchase17 on his big time commitment to @BYUBaseball!!
2025 Chase Johnston, LHP 6-0 175 (Maple Mountain HS/Mountain West)
2 Time PBR Future Gamer
We first ID’ed Chase, the summer after his 8th grade year when he was throwing in the mid 70’s.
The #2 ranked overall 2025 and #1 overall arm is now in the mid to upper 80’s!
The dominant lefty w/the swing & miss CB, has had two big time seasons to start his HS career, as he has posted Top 5 finishes in the state in K outs each of the past two years. The Cougars landed the talented LH’er over other D1 offers in and out of state!
Congrats to both Chase and the entire Johnston family!

@CSI_Baseball commit ~ @blakecar4 ~ 2024 Blake Carter, RHP 5-11 155 (Maple Mountain HS)
One of 3 on the mound of a stacked next level rotation for the Eagles in ‘24, Carter comes at hitters with a heavy sinking FB paired with a lateral cutter/SL that with tweaks in tilt has S/M potential. The CH dives with late bottom. Fast arm with strength gains to projs! Pitch ability stands out!
FB 84-86 🔁 2,257 with 86-89 in there soon to play up with spin and sink
SL 78-79 🔁 2,322
CH 80-81 🔁 1,675 (kills spin with late sinking bottom)

The physically imposing slugger and the #2 ranked player in the class put on a laser show! Next level 70 grade raw power that at man strength could be scary!
Was smashing balls out to all fields with a couple to RCF and RF that were like LH’ed pull shots! One of the best, if not the top EV in the country…also record a few 108’s.

NEW name on the RADAR!
@PBR_Uncommitted ~ @bennettaverett2 ~ 2024 Bennett Averett, RHP 6-1 180 (Maple Mountain HS)
Looks the part of an athlete with the physical structure to end up at 6-1 195-200 at maturity.
Loose EZ fast arm with an ease to operate. Clean and fluid through the slot, oozing upside of a low to mid 90’s arm in short order!
