I think I need to start venting on here a bit more often. I've tried counselling and alternative therapy and numerous different antidepressants but I just can't shift this black cloud above me no matter how hard I try ☹️
It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, I’ve been really struggling with my mental health and had been off work for almost 5 months. I’m back at work now and slowly getting back on track and taking each day as it comes. I hope everyone is doing okay x

There are often negative stories about GPs in the press but I wanted to share my experience. I won’t mention the name of the surgery for obvious privacy reasons.

I used to hide in this disabled toilet when I wanted to get away from the ward for a bit.
I’m back at the QE for an appointment so thought I’d go back to the ward where it all began along with getting this comparison pic.
A real mix of emotions.
Every year on this day, I come to where the crash happened to reflect on how this spot changed my life forever.

Sometimes it doesn’t feel real, sometimes I’ll have dreams where I have both legs but when I wake up, the reality hits me.
It’s been a while since I’ve tweeted, certainly anything meaningful anyway.
If I’m being completely honest, I’m really struggling lately.
I’ve started counselling once a week and my sertraline has been increased twice. All I want is to feel normal again.
I just want to do a full days work or go for a long walk without being in excruciating pain at the end of it. I just want my brain to slow down for a bit instead of constantly racing at 100mph.
