As someone who lives directly under a noisy flight path into Heathrow, I just want to say this brief respite from planes flying over my head every 90 seconds has been an absolute joy. The more technical faults, the better!
I broadly support the use of our public parks for day festivals. But I'd love to know how @lb_southwark will hold the likes of @EElectrics accountable when Burgess Park is left like this the day after the festival.
NOS bottles, boxes and balloons all over the park and streets.
I cycled through a small section of the park - so this is a fraction of how bad it is.
Surely these event organisers should be banned from hosting events in our parks if they can't manage anti-social behaviour like this?
But - ultimately - the buck stops at @lb_southwark. So what will the council do to ensure this doesn't happen again (and again)?
Hi @lb_southwark. I reported this broken playground equipment almost 3 months ago - and there still doesn’t appear to have been any attempt to fix it.
