CD-7 is the largest congressional district in Minnesota, yet it’s been more than 50 years since anyone from here has been elected to statewide office. I know what it looks like when a small town gets left behind.
Together, Senator @amyklobuchar and I are going to change that.
Proud to be running with Amy Klobuchar – she’s going to be a transformative governor who gets results. As Rochelle Olson puts it, she’s one of our “most successful, driven and indefatigable leaders. She’s the choice for Minnesota’s next governor and it’s not even close.”

Great to be in Eveleth for the Rukavina Dinner. Rep. Tom Rukavina was a champion for the North Country, public education, and our unions and I joined Tom’s daughter Ida and a full house of Iron Range DFLers in honoring that legacy.
Unions built Minnesota, and keeping Minnesota strong means supporting working families. I stopped in South St. Paul to talk to SEIU MN members before they headed out to knock doors, they’re fired up and all in to win this election.
Paul Wellstone taught us that “We all do better when we all do better.” Losing Paul, his wife Sheila, their daughter Marcia, and staff members Mary, Tom, and Will 24 years ago was a tragedy for our state. Today, we honor their memory by carrying on their legacy.
Senator Hauschild is a great leader from Northern Minnesota representing the largest district in the state. He knows what it means to show up and deliver for people, no matter their zip code. Amy and I are so excited to work with him on a pro-growth agenda for Minnesota!
We’re in the final stretch, and DFLers have never been more energized! They’re talking to people in every corner of this state about what’s at stake in this election. Glad I could stop by to chat with them in Chaska and Brooklyn Park!
Amy’s message is crystal clear: She will deliver for Minnesotans as our next governor, just like she always has. Thanks to everyone who joined us at the debate watch party, now it’s time to get out and VOTE!

A perfect October day up in Brainerd with my running mate, Ben Schierer.
Thank you to the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce for the chance to lay out our plans for leading Minnesota forward. From bringing down costs to expanding the economy, we’re ready to deliver results for the entire state. (As you can see from this video, even the birds liked it).
I stopped at the DFL offices in St. Cloud and Monticello to talk to the volunteers and organizers. They’re working hard to get people out to vote and have their voices heard in this election!
DFLers in Bemidji and Moorhead are fired up and ready to get their friends and neighbors out to vote. See you out there soon, Minnesota!
Fergus Falls is my hometown and a place I love. That’s why when I was mayor, we worked so hard to make it better for everyone in the community. The Fergus Falls story shows that with the right resources and support, we can build up every community across Minnesota.
It’s MEA week! I stopped by the conference to talk with educators from across Minnesota, they’re building up our next generation and we’ll do everything we can to support them.
I was in Clinton, Ortonville, Beardsley, and Wheaton talking with farmers, small business owners, and local leaders about the challenges they are facing, from access to health care to strengthening our rural economy. We’re ready to get to work and deliver for Minnesotans.
I stopped by in Andover, Bloomington, and Northfield to talk to DFLers as they headed out to knock doors and talk to their neighbors. Nothing beats getting out and talking directly with Minnesotans!
It was an absolutely beautiful day for the CD7 DFL Oktoberfest at Tim Velde’s farm in Yellow Medicine County. Across the state, people are fired up and ready to elect DFLers up and down the ballot!
Happy Pheasant Opener, Minnesota! Hunting and outdoor recreation are part of our state’s heritage and an important part of our economy. Good luck to all of the hunters this weekend!
I stopped by Pat Lunemann’s farm in Clarissa with leaders from across MN to talk about the challenges farmers are facing. Amy and I have a plan to support our farmers because keeping our rural economy strong is critical to keeping the Minnesota economy strong.
I was in Moorhead with State Sen. Rob Kupec and Fargo with former Senator Heidi Heitkamp talking about supporting our rural economy, from supporting farmers and small businesses to protecting rural health care. We are committed to working for Minnesotans wherever they live.
New yard signs are in! Big thanks to Jack, Sam, and my wife Tessa for heading out to put them up.

Building a strong future for Minnesota means we need to have great opportunities for people who want to live and work here. Amy and I have a plan to strengthen our workforce pipelines, raise academic achievement, and more!
