You just had to be there... It was surreal. She had never performed such a deep cut on tour before. Most of the deep cuts she performed were more predictable and relatively well-known songs like Monster and Scheiße, but Summerboy was something else entirely... 🚨 BREAKING: Half a million Palestinians in Gaza will lose monthly food assistance as funding shortages force major World Food Programme cuts ahead of winter, ABC News Australia reports.
➤ WFP is reducing its monthly reach from 1.6 million people to 1.1 million. Families receiving two food parcels will now get one, and flour bags will shrink.
➤ Daily hot meals have fallen from 250,000 to 150,000. Some families in hard-to-reach areas will receive meals every other day instead of daily. Cash assistance for 75,000 families is being cut by 40%.
➤ WFP’s Carl Skau said traditional donors, including the U.S. and Europe, have reduced funding. “It’s not because the needs are down … it’s only due to the lack of funding,” Skau told ABC.
➤ Around 1.4 million people face crisis-level hunger or worse, including 200,000 in emergency conditions. WFP says it urgently needs $450 million for six months of operations in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

I am alternating between outrage and despair for how Cornell has handled this, although I am sure this is a problem at campuses around our country.
This is totally unacceptable, and I am hoping this is a moment of finally having some change!
There is reporting this morning that Jane Doe did in fact say she was raped in her Cornell PD statement, but that the Tompkins County DA is now claiming he didn’t get that version of her statement.
We need to all keep the pressure on until there is accountability and change!
1,200 sexual assault cases were filed at Cornell from 2018 to 2024. Most of those found responsible received minor sanctions that allowed them to remain on campus, such as probation or training. Only 7 ended in expulsion or dismissal.
