Clearly I don't know how to @ProductHunt ... We launched seated.game today, and we did several social media announcements related to it. I've been told by a dozen or more people that they went and upvoted it, but when I look at our Launch dashboard, I only see 3 upvotes.
Watching "Rudy" after watching the @NDFootball Spring game on @peacock.
As many times as I've seen this movie, I just caught an @Jon_Favreau Easter egg in the final game. One of the ND players is wearing the name "Favreau" on their jersey.
Sometimes thought leadership isnt having the right answers. Its being willing to name your own blind spots out loud.
Go support someone you believe in. Not with a like. Show up.
Finally switched from Claude to OpenAI models with @openclaw, and I swear the replies are noticeably slower. Also getting some "thinking" or "commentary" that gets posted as replies to Slack more than it ever did with Opus.
The founders we work best with have never written a line of code. Thats not a weakness. Its the point.
They know their market. They have relationships. We bring the technology. Thats the model.
"Just find a developer."
"Have you tried outsourcing?"
"Learn to code."
None of that works when you need a real product.
What you need is a team that builds WITH you, not FOR you. That's what we do at Uncomplicated Inc.
Building the company and building the team at the same time. That's the model we're working toward at @UncomplicatdInc.
We invited 6 teams to our beta. Not 600.
Not because we couldn't find more. Because we want to learn everything from each one before adding the next.
Scale what works, not what looks good on a slide.
Met @daconsultingllc at GiveCamp Memphis years ago. She came to me with an idea to fix how community development deals get financed. We couldn't take it on at the time.
Earlier this year, we could. GrowthCommons is what happens when timing catches up to mission.
Building in public with @UncomplicatdInc.
We were supposed to launch our GamePlan360 beta tomorrow. We're pushing it a few days.
Our final review found enough rough edges that we'd rather fix them right than ship them fast.
A few more days. We'll get it right.
I just called it. Gameplan360 is feature complete.
That doesn't mean it's perfect. There are bugs to fix and UX to tighten. But everything we set out to build for beta is built.
Seven months ago we went quiet on here because we were heads down building. Sports teams shouldn't need three apps and a spreadsheet to figure out who's showing up on Saturday. That's the problem. We built the solution.
Beta opens very soon. If you organize an adult sports team and you're tired of chasing RSVPs through group chats, stay tuned.
More to come.
My wife sells at multiple antique malls. She thought she was making $50 profit on an $85 lamp. After rent, commission, and card fees, it was $29.
We built MaxIMS to fix that. And we wrote up the math most booth vendors skip.

Built Max-IMS as a side project because my wife was drowning in spreadsheets tracking her booth inventory.
Now it's officially part of @UncomplicatdInc.
One studio. One standard. Every product gets the same commitment.

Proud of this class! Memphis needs more people willing to bet on themselves.
.@bgswanson spoke at @CodeCrewTN's graduation yesterday.
His advice to the graduates: stop waiting until you feel ready. Make survivable bets. Move.
Congrats to the newest class of Memphis developers.
Gave a graduation speech at @CodeCrewTN yesterday.
The thing I kept coming back to: your career is a series of bets. The skill isn't winning every one. It's making sure every bet is survivable.
Real upside. Recoverable downside. Move before you feel ready.
2 weeks of building @UncomplicatdInc in public.
Biggest lesson: consistency matters more than perfection.
We went from 7 months of silence to posting every day. Some posts hit, some didn't. But showing up > hiding.
Week 3 starts Monday. Beta recruitment intensifies.
Something I've learned building in public for two weeks:
The posts that perform best aren't the announcements. They're the ones where I admit I don't have all the answers and ask for help.
Turns out people want to be part of building something, not just told about it.
Social Media managers, what are you using to manage mutliple channels/brands? I've been trying to use Buffer for a little over a week and continue to have issues where it says it sent a post but it didn't show up on the account.
Looking for 10-20 adult sports teams to beta test Gameplan360.
Cycling teams, rugby clubs, softball leagues, running crews, pickup basketball — if you organize it, I want you.
Free access. Honest feedback.
