Primus Labs x Cournot Protocol the bet Is over. but who decides what actually happened? a prediction market closes. one side says the project launched on time, while the other says it didn't. both sides have screenshots. both have their own arguments. > so who actually gets paid? this is something i've been thinking about since seeing the collaboration between @primus_labs and @CournotProtocol. prediction markets are pretty interesting, but deciding the final outcome isn't always as simple as picking yes or no. let's say a market asks whether a project will launch before a certain date. the team announces the launch, but the actual product isn't accessible yet. > does that count as a launch? well, that depends on the market rules and the evidence supporting the result. and that's exactly what makes this collaboration interesting to me. Primus helps verify the evidence. Cournot helps make sense of it. Primus uses zkTLS to help prove that information actually came from a website or API and wasn't changed along the way. Cournot is working on the other side of the problem, using AI-based reasoning to examine evidence against the market rules and produce judgments that can be reviewed. the idea is to make it easier to understand not just what the final decision was, but how it was reached. and i think that's a pretty useful direction. because even if information comes from a real website, someone could still misunderstand what it means. verified data and correct interpretation are two different things. that's also why i find this collaboration more interesting than just another partnership announcement. there's a real problem here that both teams are trying to address from different sides. of course, this doesn't mean every prediction market dispute will disappear. unclear rules and unreliable source information can still create problems. but giving people a better way to examine the evidence and reasoning is a meaningful step. i also made a 90-second motion video about this collaboration. spent some time trying to show how the whole process could work, from a market closing and conflicting information appearing to Primus verifying the data and Cournot examining the evidence. hopefully the animation makes the idea easier to follow. personally, i'd love to see more of this approach as prediction markets continue to grow. because a result means a lot more when people can understand the evidence behind it. > explore primus: s.kaito.ai/iS3At9q !!
