NFF received about $8.6 million in 2014 for Worldcup performance They received about $10 million in 2018 for same purposes In 2015, they received $2.5 million for fifa assisted program grant for sports development In 2020, they received roughly $10 for fida forward project 2.0 which came in tranches which the money for the two mini stadium were inclusive. In 2024, they received roughly $4 million from caf for AFCON performance This purported figures are all exclusive of federal government allocations or sponsorship deals Look around you, look at the football space in Nigeria and point one thing that shows such money or even half of it has entered this country. People like me are outraged because As big as Nigeria is, in 2025 we can’t even boast of the “basics” 🤷🏾‍♂️ we have only one stadium that’s good enough for fifa standards of football. Look at the backdrop in our conference room Carrying banner and plywood in big 2025. Look at the leagues, the grassroots, the coaches, the referees. Not one single developmental program is ongoing. I don’t want to go on and on… We have raised this issues, Shouldn’t you be asking NFF to come out and make a solid clarification with facts?? So we can understand where we stand and where we’re heading to and start seeking solutions Publish its earnings and expenditure for the public to see what’s what?? And all of this would have died off immediately But no, they can’t. They rather be giving us word salad “specific funds” were for “specific purposes” Or we only draw the line on Players ???
