Today our residents had an array of fabulous lectures & discussions during their didactics! From exploring journal articles about alternative psychotherapeutic modalities to exploring assessments commonly used in forensic settings, our curriculum is assuredly engaging!
The HUH Psychiatry Department was pleased to be a part of the National Night Out, an annual community building event aimed at facilitating police-community partnerships and promoting prevention of drug in communities. #NationalNightOut #DCHealth #HowardUniversity #MentalHealth
Faculty, staff & residents promoted the Psychiatry department’s mental health services and shared information on treating addiction.
Our residents handed out information, directed visitors to the department’s scheduling team & distributed free Narcan kits to the community.
