I am still kinda confused over how there is seemingly nothing in the instrument of government that prevents a child from becoming prime minister or other member government.
Of course it is extremely unlikely that it would ever happen, but still.
and just to clarify, no you do not need to be a member of parliament to become a member of the government.
While in practice it is always the case with prime ministers (at least in recent history), it is often not the case with some other members of the government.
