On 22 October 2026, the official website of the lawyer representing the case in the Netherlands listed, as the first two documents, the second expert report by Christine Cotton, a pharmaceutical biostatistician, in both English and French.
On 22 October 2026, I wrote⬇️ to this lawyer to verify whether Christine Cotton had authorised this use in legal proceedings, given her rigour and the high standards she consistently maintains in this regard.
I have not received a formal reply from this lawyer.
On 24 October 2026, I note that the official website of the lawyer handling the case in the Netherlands no longer cites Christine Cotton’s expert reports.
I conclude that this lawyer used Christine Cotton’s second expert report for judicial purposes without the author’s legal authorisation.
I would point out that it is an absolute priority for a lawyer to seek authorisation from the authors to use expert reports as quickly as possible.
I would point out that this case began three years ago, in 2023.
I would point out that Christine Cotton signed her first expert report in January 2022 and made it public shortly afterwards; she published her book under edition in French in 2023, her book in English in 2024, signed her second expert report in 2025 and made it public in January 2026.
Throughout all this time, I have observed that this lawyer has either never been in contact with the expert and the author, or, at the very least, has never received authorisation from Christine Cotton.
And this lawyer, who is calling for justice before the Court, has flouted the rights of the late Christine Cotton, which remain in force.
I am Christine Cotton’s work colleague, friend and soulmate.
I know Christine Cotton’s way of working; we are alike in every respect when it comes to our rigour, our clarity of thought and our intelligence.
As she mentions on several occasions in her books, it was I, this Canadian lawyer (in 2021), who convinced her to draft her first expert report, signed in January 2022 and first filed with the Quebec Court of Appeal in Canada in January 2022.
Before her death, Christine Cotton then authorised me to use her second expert report for my legal proceedings.
Christine Cotton chose very carefully who she worked with; she protected her work and the credibility of her body of work at all costs.
To honour her magnificent work as she would have wished is to honour her time on Earth, her soul.

Pendant tout ce temps, je constate que cet avocat n'a soit jamais entré en contact avec l'experte et l'auteur, ou à tout de moins, cet avocat n'a jamais reçu l'autorisation de Christine Cotton.
Et cet avocat qui réclame justice devant la Cour, bafouait les droits toujours vivants de la défunte, Christine Cotton.
Je suis la partenaire de travail, l'amie et l'âme soeur de Christine Cotton.
Je connais la façon de travailler de Christine Cotton, nous nous ressemblons à tous points sur notre rigueur, notre lucidité et notre intelligence.
Comme elle le mentionne à plusieurs reprises dans ses livres, c'est moi, cette avocate canadienne (en 2021) qui l'ait convaincu de rédiger son premier rapport d'expertise, signé en janvier 2022 et déposé pour la première fois à la Cour d'appel du Québec au Canada en janvier 2022.
