If there's anyone acting sinfully here, it's Yoni Goldstein, not @avilewis. Goldstein is worshipping Israel like an idol just like Korach and his community. Idolatry is a sin in Judaism. The desire for constructive disagreement is nothing of the kind.
Lastly, Goldstein, who served as editor @TheCJN, completely misunderstands the story of Korach. It's actually about idol worship as a bad-faith argument. This is explained in Pirkei Avot 5:17: sefaria.org/topics/machloket…
