.@BarackObama deported millions, waged drone wars, destroyed Libya and Yemen and armed Israel for genocide. Now @AbdulElSayed is helping rehabilitate him as a moral voice against Trump.

I get the importance of covering these incidents. I get the importance of films like NAZA. But it is galling, deeply galling, that the carnage inflicted on Palestinians for eighty years is consistently narrated (if at all) as if props or background to Jewish reckonings, Jewish moral dilemmas, Jewish political diversity, and so on.
Heidi Levine is an American-born Jewish colonizer based in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, where she and her entire family live as settlers on colonized land. She got a tiny dose of what Palestinians suffer daily, and it's major news. And clearly it's not because she's a journalist, because we see the dearth of reporting on Palestinian journalists who've been decimated.

This is what Western savagery worships as The Only Democracy in the Galaxy.
Israeli occupation authorities have placed Palestinian writer, journalist and political analyst Rasem Obeidat, 67, under six months of administrative detention without formal charges or a public trial.
Obeidat was arrested during a raid on his home in Jabal al-Mukabber, occupied Jerusalem, in the early hours of September 27, 2026, and interrogated at the Moscovia detention center.
On September 29, occupation authorities issued the six-month detention order based on what they described as a “secret file.”

People are trying to talk about the genocide like it’s a past event. Every form of pressure, protest and ostracism must be directed at all governments and politicians complicit in this ongoing historic crime.
🚨 “Where are we supposed to go?”: Israeli forces push the “yellow line” further into Gaza
Displaced Palestinians are fleeing near Shujaiya intersection, east of Gaza City, after Israeli forces pushed the “yellow line” westward to within 10 meters of Salah al-Din Street, leaving residents inside the Israeli-occupied area.
Drop Site contributor Mohamed Ahmed filmed families gathering their belongings and fleeing the camp.
“There's nothing left for us to sleep on. Everything has been destroyed. They've devastated us,” Mohammed Al-Fayoumi said. “Where are we supposed to go? We flee west, and there's nowhere for us there. We flee east, and it's the same thing.”
Anis Herzallah described the constant threat from Israeli military operations. “At night we have howitzers, quadcopters, tanks, Apaches and F-16s — all of them attacking us from the yellow line,” he said. “If we had somewhere else to take shelter, we wouldn't have come here.”
“We're dying here every minute, every second,” Herzallah said.
Osama Mushtaha said families had sought refuge in the camp because they had nowhere else to go, despite its lack of basic necessities. “The yellow line used to be approximately 200 meters away from us. This morning, it was only 10 meters away,” he said.

I've known Batoul since the start of the genocide and personally verified this campaign. I made the first donation. After all she, her husband and their babies have endured, money should not stand between them and the education and future they're trying to build. Please give if you can and share widely. Thank you. chuffed.org/project/203031-h…
