What if activists aren’t PR firms for politicians & their demands are bc police budgets are exploding, community resources are shrinking to bankroll it, & ppl brought this up for ages but it wasn’t until they said “defund” that comfortable people started paying attn to brutality

@blm_sd actively supports their local community in so many ways while also fighting to defund the San Diego Sheriff’s department to end their resource hoarding and campaign of terror.

Our comrade from DC!!! #BLM10
Today @DMVBlackLives along with 9 other BLM Chapters shared a Statement and demand Public Accountability for @Blklivesmatter. My hope is that we all can move forward with respect, accountability, transparency and heal from the hurt and harm 😔. #BLM10 drive.google.com/file/d/17M7…
For years, Black Lives Matter Global Network (@Blklivesmatter) has undermined the work & integrity of local chapters
Today we went public. Read our statement here:

We demand the following:
1️⃣ @OsopePatrisse & decision makers of BLMGN, @blmgrassroots, & BLM PAC stop representing themselves as leaders of all of Black Lives Matter.
2️⃣ We demand full financial transparency and accountability to all chapters. #BLM10
As we collectively determine next steps, we encourage our supporters to organize with and donate directly to chapters, who represent the frontline of Black Lives Matter. #BLM10 #BlackLivesMatter

@countyofsandiego released their racist ass proposed county budget. The county allocated an increase in funds to its criminal injustice system.
From the murder slave patrol they call Sheriffs, to social workers that are more concerned with "fraud" than the livelihood of Black disabled folx & caregivers we are callin em out.
We want to hear from you: How have you seen or experienced anti-Blackness & polic-ING from SD county programs, policies or workers. Please share your stories and ideas at bit.ly/BLACKBUDGETSTORIESSD
SDPD is trying to frame a Black person for the breaking of a cop car mirror at the protest of the shooting of Leo. If you are falsely detained for this bullshit, please contact us. We can help. #Fuck12
