Karl Smesko on the officiating: "The contact they allow on Angel (Reese) compared to everybody else is just ridiculous. We should have gone to the foul line 6-8 more times just on that ... You can't be at this level and make this many mistakes."

After a weekend of nonstop frantic discussions and negotiation, Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be played Thursday at 12:30 pm at 17,000-seat State Farm Arena in Atlanta, sources told ESPN. The Atlanta Hawks-Cleveland Cavaliers game that night will move back to 8 pm to accommodate the doubleheader, just as the Hawks did for Game 4. This allows a potential Game 7 to remain scheduled for Halloween at Chase Center in San Francisco. All three Finals games in Atlanta have required hurried adjustments to the schedule at State Farm Arena. It took collective efforts from the WNBA, NBA, the Hawks, State Farm Arena, Dream, Valkyries and broadcast partners to figure out the best course of action again. By moving the game earlier in the day, the WNBA avoided a scenario where a potential championship game was played inside the Dream’s home arena, the 3,500 seat Gateway Center. The other option under strong consideration was moving Game 6 to an open date at State Farm Arena on Friday and Game 7 to an open date at Chase Center on Tuesday, November 3.

I had my sons watching this game with me. Her pace changed the game in the 2nd half. Make or miss she put pressure on the defense EVERY time down. High level hoop game 🏁
Jordin Canada vs New York: 19 PTS 11 AST (0 TOs) Just the eighth player in WNBA history to record a points-assists double-double without committing a turnover in a playoff game. ✨

#Dream Angel Reese on what it means to reach the WNBA Finals for the first time in her career, and what the journey to this point has meant both for her personally and for the Dream as a group: "Just knowing I belong here, knowing coming to Atlanta, how much I wanted to help this team and do whatever it takes-not just to get out the first round, not just to get out the [WNBA] semis, but to make it to the Finals and win a [WNBA] championship. And the job is not done. We're definitely happy about where we are right now, but we're not satisfied. I think we just continue to push every single day, get back to work." #DreamvsLiberty #WNBA #AtlantaDream
