Last year, because of limited travel I had the time to finish my Timelapse film 'Amsterdam - My Home' that took a total of 3 years to make. It will take 5 minutes of your time, but I promise you will not be disappointed :) youtube.com/watch?v=yu3pvWGn…

Some thoughts on mechanism design for sales of limited-supply items (NFTs, tokens, but also not-inherently-blockchainy items), and how to do better than the current sales that sell out quickly and create big annoying splats on the gas market. vitalik.ca/general/2021/08/2…

Doing a random twitter experiment just on this day. Only the 268 people I follow can reply to this tweet. Feel free to ask things and I'll talk about anything crypto or non-crypto related.

1/ Hi everyone. A while back I posted a long tweet about provenance and why we are willing to pay so much for NFTs. Many people told me it was useful, and I had only 600 followers at the time, so I'm going to repost it now. Skip if you're already read. Off we go!

Empathy over judgement … kindness needs to be the formula. Unhappy people who were hurt along the way need compassion in response to their dark behavior not more venom. .if you’re grateful 😊 this morning 🌞 please spread some happiness on here, please ❤️

These last months in the NFT space have been such an incredible experience. I feel a kinship with everyone who does this, both artists and collectors. If you knew you would crash to $0 at the end of it all, would you still do it over? I definitely would, FWIW.

1/ On buying your first NFT 6529 has a lot of new followers and (so far) has DMs open and receives a lot of DMs asking "Hi 6529, I am new, which NFT should I buy" So rather than trying to answer this 1-on-1, I am posting this for future reference
