Come on.
Whatever happened to him happened to me.
I knew it was segregated times, but I had never seen anything like that in athletics.
I was embarrassed.
It was tough.
I knew being accepted was going to be hard, but I knew I was involved in a situation that was going to bring opportunities to other blacks."

Ok, 15 games left. Flush the last week. Lock it in. Friday 1:20.
Win today. Win tomorrow. Win the next day. Give me a no nonsense weekend. Make it very clear that the best offense and defense in MLB…with the MVP…is a problem.
Go Cubs.

SIX PLANETS ARE ABOUT TO SHARE THE SKY
Something incredible is about to unfold before sunrise…
On July 17, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune will all appear along the same stretch of sky in a rare planetary parade. While Uranus and Neptune will require binoculars or a telescope to see, this will still be one of the year’s most impressive skywatching events.

For a long time I thought my job as a father was to project strength. I was wrong. The best thing I have ever given my boys is the sight of me getting it wrong and trying again.

I don’t think people talk about the impact of Nas “I know I can” on Black children’s racial esteem in the 2000s. I heard it at a family friends house and I can just remember being so happy to see another Black girl singing and being so happy! Feeling like the world was mine.

The same people crying about the #Bulls trading & not taking flyers on 2nd rd picks to find shooting or interior help are absolutely quiet about the UDFA signings of 2 of the best shooters in the NCAA last season & one of the best rebounders.
I guess because they weren’t names that were force fed by consensus or in mock drafts they read or watched on YouTube then they are not interested.

An all-time pitching performance by Jacob Misiorowski. He threw a one-hit Maddux and punched 15. The most in a >99-pitch shutout before was Tarik Skubal's 13. This is Miz finding out in real time what he can be. The velocity is mind-bending. All of it is.
